I stumbled upon the Champion Krait Witch event, and I was kind of nervous to even do it. Eons ago when I first started playing this champion beat my butt, along with all the nearby Hylek and other players. I just did it with another player, who was level 11, and me who’s max level now. Wow! I remember getting one hit, and the pull used to mess me up so bad. Now I can breeze through similar events in a matter of minutes. The champion golem in the Asura starter used to whoop my behind too…

Haha, I remember trying to get a Vista near a bunch of Hylek, since then I hold an infinite grudge against them and everytime I see a village of Hylek, I make it a duty to exterminate every single of them.

Keep in mind you have much higher stats than a level 11.

Back at launch, when I was level 9, Shadow Behemoth spawned right on top of me and I got one shotted by an Ataaxe as I was trying not to wet my pants.
Since then I swing by and whale on old Behe whenever I get the urge.

She is not such a pushover though

Hmm… I should go back and pay the Krait Witch in Caledon another visit. She kicked my derriere soundly multiple times as a newbie, but almost a year later (and after last month’s Monthly taught me how to solo various Champions), I now wonder if I could take her down all by myself.

How about the spider boss in…jeez the zone with Muldor centaur dude…The spider that gets healed by the little spiders that spawn?

Haha nice. I tried to solo her this weekend myself…I tried only once because I was in the area. failed.

How to keep her little bishis from healing her? Just focus them down quick?

We happened to be with a group of players and she did heal but one time we got her down in the window before more hatchlings spawned. It is a group event I think and very hard to solo. Never managed that myself.

I savor the sweet tears of dead Dredge in Dredgehaunt Cliffs every time I go back there on my 80s. I slaughter them by the hundreds to take revenge for the horrible frustration they caused when trying to level.

There is a ram somewhere in shiverpeaks (I think) near a jumping-related vista that looked at me judgingly when I repeatedly fell and had to start over.

He is sort of my nemesis now. I think of them often during all sorts of jumping puzzles.
