*Your* Wish List For Next Patch?
I agree with that.
Something has to be done to address the technical limitations with intelligent design.
1) Ability to save 2 builds. You can switch between these builds anytime you are out of Combat. Changing these builds would still require money to re-spec and to talk to a trainer. (Maybe increased re-spec cost to accommodate)
2) Guild Halls
3) Duels, in Guilds Halls, or towns, or everywhere.
4) Pets can dodge would be fatal attacks, have same endurance regen as player.

- No more raw money drop from npc nor chests at all as well in outer world, dungeons or wvw.
- Scale up npc depending of the amount of players.
- World events need real dragons that are able to kill people, that players are fear to fight and that have effective AOE zone damages powers with an increased AI no static giant npc: actually they are a joke, really…
- Implement Gem store item like : The precursor random chest for 10k gems // 250 T6 random mat chests for 2500gems // 100 random lodestone chests for 2500gems // a permanent black lion salvage kit for 4000gems // every armor skins set that exist in game for 1600 gems per set (the look with no stats to change the look of your armor)
- Fix the south inner garison door in wvw that it get the gate upgrade when we have upgraded gates finally !!!
- New weapons like 2hand axe / 1hand spear / whip
- Fix game bugs
- Status protection system added with cleanse powers
- Nerf with a bat confusion and retaliation :p
- Ascended weapons / legendary armors parts

Most of the things in this thread I agree with, however my only request at this time is:
1) Make the lessor professions viable in groups. Making them wanted for support/condi/healing etc would go a long way towards restoring my faith in the balancing ability of ANet.
Playable Skritt race!
Dueling in pve world.
For my ilya to sell (it’s the one at 111g),
For my lodestones to sell.
More sab zones.
For gems to drop in price.
A name for my new character (Charr).

changeable mouse icon colors.
This is my #1, and if ANet would implement this, I would go blow a wad of cash buying gems merely in celebration. The cursor is impossible to locate at high resolutions in large fights with explosions going off everywhere.
Other than that:
- Build saving (sorely missing feature from GW1)
- Fix precursors. I don’t even care if it’s still RNG; but when precursors are pushing 700G, something is broken.
- Weapon swapping for Elementalists.
- More armor skins. Preferably medium armor that isn’t lame, so I actually want to play my Engy more often.
- More Asura hair styles. :P
- Siege golems need to have cat ears and whiskers. I take it back, this is the number one issue facing the game.

“Oil down.” “Mortar down.” “Stupid arrow cart.”
Fix Orr. Please.

Race Change. Nuff said.
Sanctum of Rall
(Nyx likes my links.)
Necro Wells have had their CDs slightly lowered. The Necro staff 1 attack has increased missile speed. Power scaling on the Axe has been slightly increased.
Power scaling has been improved on Life Blast, it scales much further up at full life force, and down more at low life force. The missile speed on Dark Path has been greatly increased.
You hit the Necro changes on the head. Especially in regards to Life Blast power scaling and the missile speed on Dark Path/Necrotic Grasp.
- Housing
- Scavenger Hunt
- Wardrobe System
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
- Daggers are the same damage as Swords (dagger dps is way too high)
- Ranger pets that die should have cool downs or penalties for dying
- Pistol Whip Thieves need some attention-love from ArenaNet
- More HP added to WvW so fights are more entertaining
- AoE ground damage stacking needs toned down
- Siege weapons need short despawn cooldowns if not used soon
- GW2 needs to handle GPU Hardware better
- AntiAliasing features added
- More game Options for performance
- Shadow Return for S/P Thieves gets fixed
I want acc bound dungeon runes.
I would like easy mode and hard mode for dungeons. Easy mode is roughly like cof 1 today, but for all dungeons. 10 to 15 minutes for a run, nearly no trash mobs, greatly reduced rewards (say 30/10 tokens, 13 silver). Good for casual players like me with family, job etc.
Hard mode dungeons are like 30 minutes for a run. Cof 1 and 2 would have to be expanded somewhat. Those get the rewards as of today. Arah dungeon paths get 90/30 tokens, 39 silver.
Btw: I like the idea from a guy from reddit, that during a dungeon run track is kept how many of the trash mobs are killed (not the limitless spawns of course, but the preset ones). The tier of one item in the final reward box depends from that statistic, usually green, yellow, if nearly all are killed and a decent chance at exotic when all are killed.
And halve the hp pool of the boring bosses, like the final tree in TA and the butcher in hotw 1.
Looks like we may be seeing a patch soon. Keep em coming!
High prio:
- Generally make skills more interesting, specifically add something special to skills that simply “does X damage”. Could be interactions with other skills on the same bar, example:
Ranger Rapid Fire:
“Finishing the channel on this ability will grant Focus. Focus enhances your other abilities:
Long range shot: flies faster and does 150% damage
Hunter shot: Shatters on impact, damaging nearby foes and causing vulnerability to all
Point blank shot: The focused force of this ability destroys weakened enemies, causing massive damage to foes under 30% health
Barrage: Is no longer channeled, instead delivers half the damage of its full duration in one single area hit
Using any ability affected by Focus consumes the effect, otherwise lasts 10 seconds”
- Implement this: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/suggestions/Fixing-looting-issues-F-spam-badges-etc/
- Increase respawn timers on world mobs so you dont get backstabbed by groups you just killed while you’re engaging the next group. This happens a lot when e.g. fighting groups that overlevel you and thereby take some time and effort to kill.
Medium prio:
- Allow some form of increased difficulty in world combat as an option. Currently the only way is seeking out overlevelled enemy groups (and getting backstabbed by insane respawn timers), and this method is impossible for max level characters.
Suggestion: allow the player to add additional downscaling to themselves. (has been suggested before several times)
Example:
Player A is in a low level area and is downscaled to level 5
Player B is in the same area and has chosen 2 levels extra downscaling and is therefore downscaled to level 3. Making it more difficult.
- Increase overall movement speed. This didnt annoy me so much at first but after trying out SWToR for a little while it really becomes apparent how kitten slow you move around in this game.
Nice to have:
- Cooler running animations, think assassin from GW1. They’ll never implement this though, too much work put into the current ones.
That’s what comes to mind right now but i definitely have more improvement ideas. Never get any feedback from the devs on suggestions though (i dont blame them though, boatloads of crap to sort through around here) so it seems pointless to post them.

10 things GW2 needs to change, well put together video and worth a watch.
Also, passive out of combat speed boost for everyone.
Oh and Mesmer staff “1” skill to properly bounce between targets like the ranger’s axe 1 skill does.
Thief PvE damage increase.
Necro PvE damage increase.
Lipstick an option for female Human and Norn faces.
The ability to filter between light, medium and heavy armors in TP.
no “auto banned”
Oh, almost forgot:
Make combo finishers more interesting and useful. In too many cases, the field itself is doing the exact same thing as the finisher. You dont even notice you’re doing combos in many cases, seems like a waste of an awesome system with so much potential. Also the effects are a bit weak, particularly in solo play.
Could make it so that the finishers are twice as powerful when comboing with your own fields, that should make them a more central part of your combat rotation but keep them from being abused by large groups. This would require some skill redesign to balance out the amount of finishers/fields among classes though. Could become quite a big project.
