constructs don't take any condition damage
Every mob I’ve seen in game takes condition damage, including the tree.

Ye it’s the same with dragon bosses as well I belive.
Its one of the major disadvantages to condition damage not counting other disadvantages either.

There are some invul creatures and skills that can only be damaged by conditions.
The problem is that condition damage builds are not on par, or even close, with direct damage builds. And, I am talking about sustained damage which should be the same regardless of how the damage is delivered. Environmental objects are one of the more glaring cases of the problem with condition builds.

^ This 100% – Whilst conditions builds are great for WvW, looking at Necro and Thief here for viable builds, however in the PvE world…they are terrabad compared to direct damage. There are many issues with it, lets say this ~ it doesn’t work as intended, and needs to be fixed on many levels.
