dive googles achievements (suggestion)
I second. Please, give us a list where we can see which we have done and which not.
been asked for since the first guide came out for this
the one dive i did didn’t register and i had no clue what one it was
had to do them all over again, meh
Start your own list early, is my only advice.

Too true. Unfortunately by the time people realize your own list is a good idea, it’s pretty late in the game. :/
I need 2 more of these. I checked Dulfy to look at the pictures of where they are and I’m pretty sure of one, but the other, who knows. I suspect I’ll have to take the list and go to each one. And then there’s always the chance it’s one I’ve done but it didn’t count because it was bugged.
Hello. I just did the dive at the not so secret location, after a helpful mesmers help <3 . I noticed i didn’t get any achievement for it ,which worried me at 1st, but that mesmer told me it’s ok and i got the progress. I have been wondering though, how iam supposed to know what dives i have done, if there is no seperate achievement for each dive?
Make a new achievement tab, like in jump puzzles, and make each dive give like 1-2 points or 10 wouldn’t hurt, and one achievement that covers the sum of them, like the one we have now. This way we can track what dives we have done!
No! makes too much sense!
Yeah, should’ve been like that since launch (or at least a checklist like how people have been asking for 2 years for the many different achievements like dungeon master for which paths they are missing)
Yes dungeon master and diving should have a table or something to help you keep track. Definitely gets my vote.
This would be a helpful addition to the game, also the aforementioned dungeon table would be great. +1 for both.

I started a google spreadsheet very early on, for diving goggles, dungeon paths and then also a bunch of other things like mini dungeons just because I like spreadsheets. It certainly has come in handy. But the minute you look at the achievement page of either diving goggles or dungeon paths, you should really clue in…
Orrrrrrr ANet could fix this.

The COLLECTIONS give us a list of what we have and don’t have yet. You would think that they could pretty easily implement the same method for keeping track of our dives.

Yes please. They could even just do it by map, or by region e.g. Maguuma diver, Krytan diver – at least we would have some indication of which maps we’ve missed things in.

Even before that… last year, when the achievements got their own pages each, it was supposedly “so there is more space for additional information there”. And that information just never came :{

Yeah, making your own checklist is the only interim solution, but I agree that it would be nice to have an in-game checklist to see what you’re missing. (If ANet wants to preserve the sense of discovery, then only have completed diving jumps show up, so players can see which ones they already have.)
On a personal note, I only have 5 more dives to go, and I know there’s exactly 5 jumps in Orr (the only place I haven’t been to), so I’m good.
Same thing with dungeon paths… the achievement panel is useless sometimes
