I’m wondering whether or not it’s worthwhile to convert tier 5 materials into tier 6. So, show of hands, how many of you guys convert T5 materials (common, fine, doesn’t matter) into T6?

Not worth the cost to me, better off just buying from tp, or framing them.

The crystalline dust themselves are one of the more expensive t6 mats.

Considering I need 500 Crystalline Dust, hell no! :P

Yeah since the dust price skyrocketed it is really not worth it anymore.

If you have to buy the dust forget about it. if you want to farm the dust good luck with that as well, the drop rate has been cut to just about .000000001%. It appears that the more you require an item the lower they set the drop rate. For example I have the tier 6 leather slots in my bank close to being maxed as they drop the most. However very little of that leather is needed.

Only convert dusts and cores now.
It’s amazing how AC change cause T5 T6 dust become so expensive.(Or it’s Orr change?)

Ages ago I converted silk to gossamer to craft my exo set- it was cheap then

I thought about it, did the math to see if it was cost effective and no it wasn’t. Maybe if they changed the drop rate for the dust.

I would like to be able to convert tier 6 mats back to tier 5 or 4 -_-

I promote only T5 blood, scales and dust to T6 versions
The rest is not worth it

Not really the dust is one of the many items that’s almost impossible to get especially from RNG boxes from the laurel and karma vendors so It’s really not worth it.

You’re better off farmin…..oh wait you can’t do that, because they cut off the loot with DR/loot reductions in open world in Nov 2012.

You’re better off buying them from the the TP…oh wait you have to have gobs of gold because they allow the market to be so overwhelmingly manipulated you have to have a mint to buy anything.

You’re better off buying gems and converting them to gold because the other methods are shot. yeah. good luck.
