hi there

sorry to ask a dum question. i just hear new patch will have achievement rewards. can get weapon skin, helm and shoulder, gloves.

just want to know so is it count the achievement point after patch. or can take reward once the new patch coming out?

so if i got around 3.5k achievement point. is it can get the reward once the patch been update? or from the beginning? meaning need to earn another 1k achievement point to get the rewards?

All your achievement points count, including the ones you’ve already got.

Your current achievement points will count, put you can only pick up one chest reward per day.

Say you have 3,000 points, I think that qualifies you for 6 chest, but you will have to wait 6 days before you get them all.

From Dulfy’s guide:

1) Account achievement rewards

• Every 500 achievement points, you hit an achievement milestone and get a chest with gold, laurels and account bonuses etc. (You do not spend any achievement points).

• Milestones that end in three 0s will give you Zenith weapon skins and those Milestones in high tiers will give you 3 piece armor skins (helm, gloves, shoulders)

• For each milestone you chose which skin to unlock. Once unlocked, you can withdraw and use that skin infinite amount of times like HOM skins.

• All of the armor/weapon skins are animated

How does the backlog work, it seems to be similar to the WvW world xp chests but does this mean I have to wait for each 500 point to get a backlog chest? Do I get the first one when I log in after the patch hits or have to wait until I reach the next 500 milestone?

From what dulfy says you get one chest every day till you get everything, regardless whether you got new achievement points or not.

Going by Dulfy’s description I should get the following:

12 – 500 point chests
6 – 1000 point chests

18 chests in total to be delivered over 18 days …

Is this assumption correct?

I was under the impression that you get 1 chest per 500 AP, so you would get 12 in total. Half of those (for each full 1000 AP) “large chests” and the ones in between (for AP ending in -500) would be “small chests”.

But we will know tonight.

Ah … this^ makes more sense …

It looks like there are five different chests. I am a bit confused about how it works, as well. Still, I suppose we all find out later today. Yay! for the new patch. =)

Yu get one every 500 points, but the ones ending in 000 give you skins.
