Note: Each segment is quite branching from one thing to the next, and I am not gonna sort it ‘cus then it sorta will lose it’s purpose as a rant. (And I need to RANT!)
I will start off with the progress list as an idea.
It’s quite annoying that I have no clue what progress each of my characters have done in the form of dungeons (having explorable mode unlocked or not..)
So that addition of a progress window before even logging IN on the character would be nice.
Also the professions. Even if I play my main most of the time, and I might have started up 5 professions on her, but I got no clue how to check it up, aside from the ONLY 2 active ones I see in the character’s crafting tab! And if I go to an other dimwit NPC to learn another profession, (that I didn’t know I already had started up), then the little kitten demand payment for me to deactivate and reactivate.
It’s like me turning to someone with cash saying: ‘’please, put this micro-chip into my brain ’cus I certainly don’t know how to do it myself. Thank you! realisation of the process of profession. Oh.. but I already knew this… but why did I pay you..?’’
So can I PLEASE have a kitten idea of what professions I already have and not have so I can INTENTIONALLY go to a kitten asura and get a brain wash in turns of cash?
If I were to check in the achievements to try and figure which ones I have on her, it is accountwide, and doesn’t specify which character on my account got that profession achievement in the first place so I know which one to resume raising the skill on or not. Even if you could make it that easy to add a little name to the achievement, it wouldn’t be efficient.
‘Cus I suggest a TAB of it’s own where you can see character progress, almost similar to the story journal or the crafting ‘journal’. ‘Cus it’s supposed to be that no? Something to keep track of.
Profession process on the left side so you can keep track on how many you got and what skill level it is.
Actually, can we get a PROPER journal? Not just with living story or personal story, but a profession journal, dungeon journal, character overal journal. HECK even some TIPS journal when it comes to crafting the awkwardly complicated bullkitten items that require stuff I’ve never actually seen or heard of.
CAN’T there actually be a personal story quests where you get INTRODUCED into crafting your first own ascended item?
Like often when people roll in like a buffalo herd around new content patch, a little letter decide to come flying by the wind and smack you blind, and a little NPC you probably never heard of say something like:
‘’Lol I heard you were weak as a twig and can’t even swat a fly, but let’s fix your kitten up and send you battling Mordremoth’s minions, maybe that will help you gain some sort of dignity. kitten lol.’’
And you will be sent you across a field of flowers and hot sun and lovely rainbows and unicorns~ for you to get your ascended item and perhaps understand for once what the kitten you are doing in the game. ’Cus honestly. I HAVE NO kittenING CLUE!
Every time there has been new content to the game, and I get rewarded with example Geodes, and it says it’s a ‘Trophy’ item. What is a ‘trophy’ item…? For..? I got no clue, but it’s clear it’s not trash, but I got no clue what it is for, so I hold onto it with NO explanation of what to kittenING DO WITH IT!
Of course there is a wiki I can go to, but is THAT really the point? Is THAT the point of playing a game?? Why does the Wiki’s have to be the BIG last resort for every kittening player in every game ‘cus they couldn’t figure what to do with it themselves? Why can’t the game creators make a kitten KNOW-IT-ALL NPC that at least give you a hint of what to do with said item, instead of you having to go onto a wiki, or do what I do, I hold onto it and see where it might come in handy eventually, ‘cus that is how I play games.
Alot of games is like a kitten Mathematics book. The game itself being the different math challenges and calculations, and the wiki is like the correct answers pages.
I personally don’t find those that at least ‘figure’ there being a direct answers page to be ‘good’ at something.
‘’Yeah I found the answers.’’
‘’And..?’’
‘’It got me to make this cool armor!’’
‘’So there is this massive complex crafting system that actually serve no purpose but wasting peoples time, ’cus people can simply look it up on the wiki and poof bam you know everything..?’’
Is this in favor of both those that play GW2 and the creation of GW2 itself..? Aside from those that feel some sort of challenge by farming the ridiculous achievements that I, again, have NO kittening clue is all about and what purpose it provide (specifikly the collections section), but I am not gonna judge those that like doing achievements, so go ahead, do it.
