Profession based weapons, for example:
Elementalist/tempest weapon sets. (Only containing weapons that ele’s can use.) they weapons have partical effects on them to match the attunments. Like a staff with fire enveloping it. But when the ele swaps the attunments. The effects change to water or air or earth.
Blue fiery weapons for guardian.
Colourful purple, butterfly weapons for Mesmer,
Ect…

i would love some engineer themed skins which are more crude and makeshift like the turrets and dont looks so modern or science-fictiony as a lot of engineer stuff does… something that looks more like the new specialization helmet or a bit like the dredge stuff…
imo most of the engineer themed stuff looks way too spacey…i prefer the early 1900 looking stuff….

heh.. id do a backflip with 2 broken legs if a-net would make engi armor in this fashion. The spec helmet already goes the direction fortunally.. also the spec hammer skin is fitting

Sort of not on topic but i would love if they allowed us the ability to alter glow colours on gear (such as grenth hood green eyes being possible to change colour)

If we could do that to weapons also i would be soooo happy.

Capes (back) , overalls (medium armor), lantern (torch), a warhorn that doesn’t look like a warhorn, toy hammers, and a visibility checkbox for tops (or at least for charrs)

a longbow that shoot quaggan and if you missed the enemy “quaggan f.uuuuu” resound
and if you kill it " quaggan is haaaapyyyyy" resound . foot steps should be pink and with fluffy clouds. bow ofc also pink but pls much more cute than the dreamer ones

after the amazing guild emblems chosen we need more quaggan stuff in game but in pink to make the game more cute!

Scythe skins for greatswords would be divine <3

- dark knight(see pics)
- egypt princess
- Shiro’s original set in gw1
- robin hood style with a cool hat that doesn’t remove hair

Foefire’s Flail.

A Flail like the other foefire weapons, make it a mace. It’s already half made, the chain mechanics exist and you could use the haft from Foefire’s Power turned upside down as the handle with the chain attached already, then they’d just need to make the spiked ball end to attach to the chain.

Making all outfits into armor version would be fantastic, but the ones I would like the most to have as interchangeable pieces would be the Arcane, Executioner and Wedding ones.

Aside from that, I would love to see selectable skins for engie kits.

Also, lightsabers, and force field weapons and armor .

simple, no more outfits.

bring on all your skin ideas, make them gem or ingame drops.
but for the love of GOD stop with the outfits.

i’d also like if they had more variety in the style of the armor or outfits…they all speak the same language – if i look for example into blizzards stuff like diablo 3 or warhammer – they have fantastic armor

Id also like to see more “alternative” skins for wepaons
why for example no mace-skins that look like hammers (thor anyone)
or mace skins that look like flails, or hammer/greatsword skins that look like axes, or bow / rifle skins that look like crossbow (bows fit thematically better but rifles fit better with the animation) etc. etc.

Id also like to see some type of rating system for armor and outfits so that anet gets a better feel of what the community likes and disslikes

Oh the EOTN gloves. Worst armor decision in GW1, like ever. They all looked so ridiculous.

Of course, GW2 is already loaded with ridiculous glowy stuff so it would actually be more fitting.

Dont hold your breath for dyable weapons either. I forget the exact quote, but it was something along the lines of weapons not being dyable being a design decision specifically aimed at making weapons more collectable or something like that. They didn’t leave out weapon dyes because of technical hurdles.
