It was announced last month that players who purchased the original game directly from Arenanet between January 2015 and June 16, 2015, and subsequently preordered HoT (again directly from Anet) by July 31, would be refunded their original GW2 purchase price.

Just curious then, has anyone here who meets both of these criteria seen that refund yet? If so, when did you peeordered HoT, and about how long did you wait for your refund afterwards?

I purchased my 2nd account (couldn’t get the first one back) on January 26th and after I upgraded my account and received my $10 refund a week after.

I’m still waiting for my veteran character slot. I got four/five beta slots but no regular one yet.

Those slots are given out in weekly batches, so when did you pre-purchase Heart of Thorns?

If it was less than a week ago, it should have arrived before the end of day 10.

If it was more than 10 days ago, I would contact support to see if they can add the slot.
