Ascended salvaging

Uh-oh… I foresee a lot of complaints much like SAB Infinite Continue Coin, specially for those who purchased Silver-Fed. If they add a recipe to transform it to an ascended one, though…

Why would there be complaints?
With the SAB coin, the content for which the coin was created was removed entirely, thus making it entirely obsolete.
Here, the Silver-Fed will still be fulfilling the same purpose it has always had, no change there. No “content” or purpose has been removed that makes the Silver-Fed obsolete.
They are simply introducing a new tier of salvage kit, and likely, a later “Gold-Fed” or whatever the price of the ascended kits turn out to be. We didn’t see any outrage with the introduction of “Silver-Feds” so why would we see outrage then.
Gold-Fed doesn’t make sense. Copper-Fed and Silver-Fed both salvage all the items, the difference is % of recovering upgrades, and not the item quality. Therefore, it would only make sense to upgrade Copper/Silver to work with Ascended.

The Copper-Fed is an everlasting Basic salvage kit.
The Silver-Fed is an everlasting Master salvage kit.
If the Basic and Master salvage kits won’t be able to salvage ascended items it makes perfect sense to me that Copper and Silver won’t be able to.
And I do have bought both Copper and Silver more than once for my characters…
I don’t really see any issue here. You know what you paid for and got what you paid for. There were no mention about additional features applied later.
