Crap, I guess I missed it. Got a slot but nothing to do with it.

It’s not officially there yet, supposedly. They just messed up… or so I hear.

I don’t understand… it said it had to start at 11:30 a.m. UTC-7 and I’m looking at world fuses right now, UTC -7 11:39 a.m. and I can’t create a beta character.

Bah! Guess I’ll just have to wait another hour or so.

There’s 50 minutes left before the start. The brief period it was available earlier was a mistake/glitch.

No it would be 19:30 in the UK

I see, it’s probably the Daylight Savings time messing the conversions up… how handy these things are.

Thank you, i just typed in 11.30 pacific time and it said 19.30, must have been looking at wrong conversion.

yeah if you ask me we should totally get rid of daylight savings times, doing more harm than good in todays worlds

Ended up with the day off of work, so I gave it a shot. Ranger still looked to be using the old trait setup… :-/

They all use the old trait set up.. even the new revreant.

Dont know if they new trait lines will be activated when the official beta starts in an hour or so, but i would doubt it since they trait lines they gave us in the slip up this morning were already set. I didnt try and refund talents for fear of screwing something up

I see. I just went back into my main necro and looked at the skill layout. The beta has the necro set for total ‘Soul Reaping’ line (which is what I must have muddled with the new ‘Reaper’ trait). Wonder if the beta will let me change the skills back to my normal skill lines?

Based on what I have heard (don’t have access):

Elite Specializations.
The majority of the expansion content.
The full Revenant.
The new trait system.

It starts in 3 minutes, so no one really knows. Though those who got in during the glitch report no revamped trait lines.

Yet another example of how daylight savings time is completely stupid it today’s world and only creates confusion. It was stupid in the first place and should be abolished.

I got in earlier and there was nothing, no new weapons, trait lines etc.

Quick question since i can log in to beta till the last stress test tonight. Do you have access to all weapons, sigils, runes, armor etc? (when i say all i mean all normally available to your class). Do i need to buy from TP etc?

You do not get the option. You are full celestial gear with each weapon that class would use. Doylak Runes….. I forget all, but I know one is sigil of leeching.
You are unable to buy anything for the toon as far as I know. I know the first time around it was not an option and does not look to be now either.
