i pre purchased HoT, but did;t get a free char slot? i bought it at the retailer, anyone know why this is?

I’m not sure if the slot applies to box purchase, however, assuming that it does, the free veteran slots are given out on Fridays usually. So you might not get it until HoT releases

pretty baffled still that it only applies to prepurchase, o well, ill take the lost and see the streamers showing the new content before buying in the future. Just not seeing the motivation yet from all the vagueness

If you are talking about deluxe char slot and you applied your HoT code recently, then you must wait a little because those char slots are given away on weekly basis.
If you are talking about veteran char slot, then your account must be older than 15.01.15.

well my account is from the release, lets hope they are smart enough to give them away today!

Is it still going on? If i were to preorder the ultimate HoT today would i get the 2 character slots?

Yep. As long as you apply the code before launch.

I purchased Ho T in game. I got a email with a redemption code. It said no further action needed.

When and how will I get the extra slot?

Character slot sent on Fridays. Should get Friday. It will be in account automatic.

If your account is older than Jan 23rd 2015 and you buy the deluxe or ultimate edition you get 2 slots. One for being a Vet and one for the deluxe/ultimate edition.

I bought the expansion a week ago and still no character slot for my revenant! =-(

Anyone already got one? or is Anet still slacking? want to play my rev! kitten you Anet
