Conditions and Structures
The way this game is set up, it doesn’t make sense to have conditions NOT affect random objects like weapon racks and houses. Already, you can bleed ice elementals and do other nonsensical things with conditions.
I don’t give a kitten about condi’s and objects.
I mostly use condi build…
Don’t find Turrets a problem either.
I think it would be good if conditions were converted to http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Structural_Vulnerability when applied to objects that need to be destroyed.

Kinda curious what game modes you mostly play.
There are a crazy amount of dynamic events out there that revolve around destroying objects, and I always found that to be very frustrating on condi-spec characters. Other people are swooping in and sending centaur weapon racks flying in explosions of splinters as my poor condi-build character pelts them with fluffy marshmallows.

And? Taking longer to do something isn’t all that bad, its a trade-off.
And? Taking longer to do something isn’t all that bad, its a trade-off.
So what’s the trade off? I haven’t noticed condi builds to be superior to power or crit builds as a trade off for being completely ineffective against objects.
What are the condi builds getting in return?
And taking longer to destroy an object that sits there and does nothing in return, yes, that’s bad. I can’t think of an upside there. PvInertObject is about the dullest form of gameplay possible.

Come on, the Virtue of Justice only burns bad folk, we all know that. And poison/bleeding/freeze won’t affect a barrel.
So i think is right you need like an hour to kill a barrel.
I searched for a good long while for a thread I made a few years ago about this very thing. I was leveling my Necro at the time and it was so tedious to do hearts that involved structures because I wanted to play a condi necro.
They had briefly mentioned addressing it in the past but I guess they decided against it and never told us they decided against it.
When you have the best community in MMOs you don’t have to communicate with them. We are the Tina Turner of MMO communities.

More and easier defense while still being able to counter pressure.
Lower skill requirement. Mostly.
ETC.

I don’t see them revamping old contend.
as for the new one – take a look at Vinewrath and line 2 boss fight -Champion Mordrem Mangler
there a alot of growed “Pustules” that are structure-like elemys that take condy dmg.
so there is hoppe for future
Convert different conditions into Corrosion
Each stack of Bleed/Poison/Fire = 1 stack of Corrosion
- 25 stacks at maximum
- 3 sec duration per stack
- Dmg modifier: Condi.dmg and Power
Vulnerability
- 25 stacks at maximum
- 1 stack = +0,5 % Dmg to Structures
And ofc.
Structural Vulnerability
Well done! Every class is now usefull against structures.

So how come you can burn fish in the water, or make earth elementals bleed?
I was going to say conditions on objects doesn’t make sense at all. Until I saw this:

And this would actually make some sense for conditions having an effect on objects.

There are some dungeon paths that would be nice to be able to condi objects.
The kittenmed Elemental Source in the Snowblind fractal. Dear god that thing is annoying enough with non-condi builds.
curse my dependence on sleep for survival!
