for there you have been and there you will long to return.

Wait, you apparently can “consume all” for berries And now salvaging the others salvages the entire stack.
When the heck did that happen? Well, that’s pretty much it for me. I have no real complaints.

Wait, what? You can salvage more than one at a time? How?
Just salvage like normal and it will ask are you sure u wanna salvage 250 blood rubies?
Pretty good QOL change!

Just checked in game, unfortunately it doesn’t actually salvage the stack. Still one at a time :’(
According to the lead dev for material storage, this might be something they can’t undo.
…but I really hope they can. Those items should have been put into the Wallet. And honestly, the Wallet needs a bit of a UI upgrade, if only to sort/separate the various currencies by source (dungeon, LS2, LS3, etc).
Proofs of Heroics were tokens and turned into a currency you acquire by right click —> add to wallet. They’re glorified tokens now, I imagine it’s doable.
Either way, I’d rather have by bank slots and inventory slots free again, especially with a new map token. I boycotted Lake Doric in protest of the continuing clogging of my inventory. That issue has gone away now.
Its doable but they won’t do it. Lindsey mentioned that they were intentionally made into items because “there’s a lot more things you can do with an itemDef than with a currencyDef”
I think the technical limitation with items in the wallet is that they can only interact with vendors, not crafting stations.
I agree with you, but the fact that she thought it important enough to mention says, to me, that they have zero plans to re-implement these as proper currencies and just let us use them to buy crafting mats for the recipes that use them.

Sounds like a bug if they put the consume all for berries.

FYI, you do have the option of just selling these trophies to a merchant. A stack sells for ~6.5 gold.

You can’t mine/forage currencies. These you can, hence these are materials.

Aurillium? Or, maybe that’s just the one node. But, still….
I think it’s just a symptom of a design flaw that needs to be addressed before episode 6 / next expansion.
Having items pull dual weights isn’t healthy for the current state of the game. In future they should probably have a Unique crafting item, Unique Currency or Unbound Magic/Whatever the next LS currency name is.
@Spicy – Not true. These nodes do drop unbound magic, so why wouldn’t they be able to drop another currency as well?
Why arent T7 materials a currency? If something that is clogging up inventories its those. These new materials are just fine where they are. It matters extremely little where they are stored.
