Guild Wars 2

Does guildwars 2 core game personal story count towards HoT? I know that you don’t have to complete guildwars 2 to play HoT story but will your choices on the first game have some type of impact?

I don’t believe so. The only choice I would think might affect something would be which Order you choose to join; either the “Order of Whispers”, “The Pact” or the “Durmond Priory”, which might affect some dialog or perhaps other events for the expansion’s story.

But for now, we can’t say for certain, as none of us have played the entirety of HoT’s story.
