This question is pretty self-explanatory. We already know that Engineers will be able to wield hammers and use drones, but will drones only be available to use if you choose the elite specialization, or can you use them regardless of your specialization?

We won’t know for certain until the blog post comes out of the engineer’s elite specialization.

With that said, I would think they would be tied specifically to the elite specialization (if they are unique enough) and therefore can only be used if you have that specialization equipped. But that’s just my thinking.

Based on the trend with the other classes, Elite spec requires that you trait it in order to use the weapon and make the utilities available.
