Has anyone yet suggested a glider where you basically turn into a swarm of bats? Like the potion that turns you into bats. That would be the ultimate. I’d feel like Dracula. Imagine the entrance you’d make. “What’s that? It’s just a swarm of bats. Wai—AAAARGH!”

A glider skin similar to the 2 skill when you are running with glints egg in the auric basin story mission. Glints wingspan (just as a glider, too many other wings as back pieces IMHO )

Also what cultural glider skins? This might satisfy some people that are complaining about glider skins mostly being gemstone items while also granting some individuality.

• Love the bubble idea, especially in your character stands upright like Glinda, or sites in a crossed-legged meditation/guru fashion. Bubble should pop! on landing, and have nice effects catching the light like bubbles do

• Balloon idea is good: one giant one tied to one hand, balloon color dye-able. When you land, you release balloon and it floats up into the air and away. (It’s a balloon. You’ve got a bunch more in a bag in your pocket)

• Superman cape, that is also a back item cape. Dye-able. Maybe change animation so both arms are out in front of character, instead of to sides, when gliding

• Wings or glider based on the Zenith weapon skins appearance. I love the look of those. Would be nice if this was somehow available based on account achievements like the weapons are, but not necessary

• Bone wings. Wings, made only from bones. Bone color bones. They make clacking, tinkling noises like bones rattling together as they move. Maybe in the air a few small bones fall off and away

Has anyone said a pink cloud like the one in Monkey Magic?

Check your Glider panel, folks. While it’s not yet available, a bubble glider skin is previewable there. You don’t seem to get an alternate pose, and it’s a water bubble not a soap bubble (probably as they already had water bubble art for Tempest), but hey! Could be this thread had an effect!

It looks like the character is drowning. Like someone is trying to kill them by trapping them inside a water bubble. I think they missed the point, but I’m sure it will still sell anyway.

Something similar to the bi wing the Wright Brothers made would be pretty cool to honor their contribution to flight. Also I think a box kite would be cool.

Yay, got the Asuran Electromagnetic glider, Human Classical glider (plus other assorted wings etc.) and Charr Ironclad glider! Now we need a Sylvarian style glider (sheds leaves or flowers as it goes, please!), a Norn style glider -different leather pelts and bone maybe?

I love collecting these gliders. Great work devs!

Jetpack glider that starts smoking and sputtering, and then fizzles out or explodes when you hit the max of your glide time.

What about the Dragon Hologram wings? You could glide with the dragon wings, and that’d be super cool!

I am certain someone has mention this already (sorry but I got no time to read the past pages at the moment)-

I know this sound crazy but maybe you could you know, make some craftable gliders? I mean not everyone want to used their cash on the gem or have better used to convert their golds into gems?

Leatherworker can craft a leather Glider, Tailor craft a frabric Glider and Armorcrafting can craft a metallic Glider?

I can see this being praticale seeing how there is no real realism when it come to the glider in the first place.

I’d like to see flaming phoenix wings.

Regarding the Elementalist glider that was already suggested:
We already have a air and a water glider (the electro and bubble glider)
we only need a earth and fire glider and the ability for the Elementalist to switch between them according to the Attunement (I also would pay for each individually)

Give people glider skins as rewards rather than making them buy all but the basic one.

“Form” gliders.

Basically, gliders with tonic effects attached, stuff like gliding turns you in to a darkness mote in stead of using your model. Like mist form, or any of the transforms that turn you in to a ball of magic for a skill, only as a glider.

I second guild gliders as well. As a guild upgrade. That we can get by playing the game.

Aviator’s glider: uses the aviator cap and no glider model. Uses the aviator’s cap voice clips (NEEEEOWWWW BRBRBRBRBRRR)

ROFLCOPTER: Looping spin animation. Just rip it out of the various weapon skills.

I’ll once again bring up the idea of a leafy bioluminescent glider.

Just… don’t put the dang thing in the gemstore, please.

In daiblo three there is a character named Maghda she has two large flying insects on her shoulders which pick her up and carry her. My idea for a glider is the same by simple attaching large flying insects to the character which allow them to glide.

My other suggestion is also simple legendary weapons produce an aura and it would be nice to have gliders that complement the legendaries. The glider I want is something that could work with Moot, Dreamer, or Quip can be something like a fireworks dislplay while gliding, confetti streams popping all over, multiple ballons tied all over the body, or even balloon wings knotted to look like wings much like balloon animals with some sort of effect musical/visual effects.

The black and white “angel” wings are OK, but kinda “floppy”. The new “Hawk” style wings are simple amazing, so I’d love to see them offered in plain white and black like the angel wings. Or make a “Hawk” wing glider that is dyeable so you can just make it the color you wish?

I like the idea of earnable glider skins. Make the game a bit more sandboxy and be able to build your own glider/unique skin. (similar to ArchAge for example)(And being able to color these with more pattern options would be a plus.) Each skin could have a ingame collection(minor grindy/gated + collecting the mats) and or unlocking all skin collections by gemstore puchase (1000-1500 gems?) That way gem store cash for you plus we’d have to grind it means we’d come back day after day to play more!

I also like the idea of invisible gliders or being able to uncheck the glider so it doesn’t show when your gliding I like the superman look sometimes when its laggy and the glider doesn’t res right away Oooh how about a cape glider!

how bout glider skin tonics? equipping the tonic would be equipping the skin basically. Earn the tonic by defeating creatures in the world. Then transform into these creatures when gliding like drinking a tonic. Crow, Eagle, Owl, Flying Squirel, character sized Mini Shatterer or any dragon would be awesome!!!! Ohhhh i want a dragon tonic glider skin now! It would be like Orr except you would be that dragon in the sky and (much lower)

Glider skins for the most part are ez cash for them imo. But i desperately want to be able to build/craft unique glider skins too. Maybe a compromise somehow? Legendary gliders? have their own updraft boost, a buff that would last for a few seconds and have a cooldown? or Legendary glider frame(you can craft) – that would allow you to do this and once unlocked would be applied to all your gliders?

Hello, aside from Gliders only please do sell some varieties of Wings, not just the Hawk Wings as those look boring with some costumes. You cant have a giant norn wearing a Balthazar Costume with Hawk Wings. Thank you.

I like quite a few of the Reclaimed/Salvaged weapons skins…so how about a Reclaimed/Salvaged Glider?

Think a large patchwork quilt or piece of fabric salvaged from a downed pact airship, with a plain wood frame and trailing loose threads/ribbons/leather straps.

Because sometimes simple looks best.

An insect wing glider would be great! (And shouldn’t be to difficult to create) just take a random diptera species and copy the wing structures of that insect, now make a backpiece that looks like non flying position and a glider that moves like a flying insect of that species!

(You could even make many different insect gliders - buy the first in the gemstore, unlocks nearly identical looking ones from other insects, you have to achieve by ridiciulus achiefments - and if you got all gliders - you unlock an insect wing glider that doesn’t look like the others (butterfly, dragonfly, moth, ladybug or similar insect glider)

Or give each race an other insect glider pattern (in tgat case, a must have for asura would be drosophila melanogaster wing pattern, also the best researched wing pattern there is)

And an other idea, give Zommoros/the mystic forge a unique glider (uhm maybe somthing made out of his wine and phioles of blood, a liquid glider made out of red wine/blood ( something like this - just in red (start 1:50) https://youtu.be/uNEOPshLfUM ) but it doesn’t really matter, it just needs to be unique) and the droprate should be lower as the old precusers, but with clothes instead of weapons!

There’s an interest in gliders that aren’t gemstore items, so maybe gliders themed after legendary weapons, too? Have them unlock when their corresponding legendary weapon is unlocked.

I’d like to +1 on the idea of “transformation” gliders. I would love the idea of Ryu Hayabusa’s falcon teleport technique (I couldn’t find a better clip, sorry) or Strider Hiryu’s Option C hawk flight or his more mundane falcon glider.

Some existing transforms you can use: Batwing Brew (swarm of bats glider), Mist Form (fluffy cloud glider), Ride the Lightning (thunder cloud glider), Tornado (just because), Lich Form (again, just because) just about any Tonic transform, especially Reindeer and Glowing Bat.

It would be great to have a glider similar to the Electromagnetic Descender only made of fire (as in all fire without anything solid). It would be nice to have a “None” option in the glider skin selection screen as well where your regular back item shows instead.

what about a hoover board, there are endless possibilities.
