I want the little holo wings for my Asura. And make them flap. I want her to look like a little bumblebee flying around.

To be honest i had the most fun today when my glider had a visual bug, invisible glider ftw, i want to superman trough the jungle :p

Already have butterfly wings as back item, why not make it a glider also like the bat and feather wings?

I really want the three dragon wings to be redone to be like the feathered wings and bat wings, and also made gliders.

I am loving the bat wings on my charr but if the Wings of the Sunless were that shape and didn’t flap, and was also a glider, I would love those even more.

the holographing wings already act as a glider if you are using the skin, try it out!

This is why I think GW1 is a better game.

Not all this unrealistic bling, and goku chars. Actual immersive content is what we need. I’m sorry if this collides with your opinions, but I’m trying to save the game for some people who don’t like this futuristic, or unrealistic crap.

The holographic wings are just light particles.

The standard wing gliders make sense, as they are physically there and aerodynamically suitable for gliding, the holographic wings? not so much

In my opinion I think they found another way to make money!!! Give us more types of wings please haha I’d like it

People these days will buy ANYTHING. Anet didn’t find another way to make money, it was clearly already there. And they made the wrong decision to use it. Because now everyone and their mom has wings. Just like any cheap mmo out there. Soon, if anet accepts the feedback from this thread, players will be flying around with any random device that can be scrapped on ones back. This may include 10 cm long holo wings, or spinal blades, or even this yolotron talking robot. Can you see where this bullkitten is taking us? Exactely, kid town.

You must have missed the SAB, from which we get to use solid holograms for weapons (there are plenty still in the TP if you wish to look at the text blurb), and the Scarlet fiasco, where we get to fight solid hologram foes.

Solid holograms are a thing and in-game already

Ad Infinitum… I mean, we craft/collect a legendary backpack, so why not also make it available as a glider?
We have something similar with the black/white wings currently (although they come from the gemstore). But Ad Infinitum would be so shiny…!
