I feel people nowadays want everything for free and to never actually earn anything.
It’s ok. You don’t have to have ascended gear. I don’t and I live.
Because wanting a way to get something other than the “prescribed” way is wanting something for nothing…

That was a general statement in regard to an entirety of forum. That’s why “i feel people”. So who’s failing logic here? I didn’t point at anyone. Just general sentiment about what’s going around these forums for quite some time now.
Also you can want but they are not obliged to deliver that to you. Lots of people want a lot of different things. Often they contradict each other so that’s a no-go. What I said is also true. If he doesn’t like it he doesn’t need to do it. I dislike crafting so I don’t do it. It’s just that simple really. If you want more then work towards it.

You really should read an entire thread before you make assumptions about what it’s about.
Nobody here wants something for doing nothing. Its the process of the something and only purpose of that something that makes it very very awful.
Then as you read on you would see the OP wouldn’t mind earning the gear in other ways. Those ways taking a decent amount of time as well.

There’s literally nothing rude about my post. I don’t get where you get the idea that it is? I gave advice that I myself followed. I dislike crafting so I don’t do it. No sleep lost over it. Earning in other ways… see above. Many people would want to earn it in other ways as well and these ways may contradict each other. They won’t give in to wants of people for the sake of satisfying everybody because it’s impossible.
I would want a piece of ascended gear of my choice for every 7th day logged reward instead of whatever it is right now. Does it mean ANet should do it because I want to pursue it in that way ?

Some suggestions are reasonable “Please enhance the reward for this hard work”
Some suggestions are garbage “Give me now quicker for no effort”
And I am 100% Anet has a brain and knows what is good and bad. The game is amazing and I believe the only reason crafting isn’t that great now is because the economy has moved far from where the original ideas of how it should work.
One thing that would improve crafting imo other than account bound skin rewards would be to clean up the Trading post to only hold so many items for so long. We wouldn’t have massive amounts of items stocked up so nothing is worth anything.
