Hello. I am just curious if we will still need to be able to craft Gifts when HoT launches to get Legendary Weapons now that precursors can be gotten through Achievements, etc.

Current legendaries – yes
New legendaries – probably something similar, but it hasn’t been stated yet.

For the original legendary weapons, they are remaining the exact same as they are now (there is just a one-time alternative to acquiring the precursor of each legendary once). So you will still need to craft Gifts for the older legendaries.

As for whether or not the new legendaries will require new Gifts, we don’t yet know. But one can assume they will also require Gifts in order to create.
