Last HoT Testing we wasn’t notified enough about the In-game Bank snapshot for your beta slot Character (Bank items copied for your beta character). When will the snapshot copy of our banks occur?

I don’t think anyone knows. I’ve seen a couple of posts saying at time of beta character creation but they didn’t say where they got this information and they are probably speculating. I would put in any ascended gear, skins and makeover kits that I want to use in the bank at least the night before.

In the previous beta it happened at the time of character creation (which you could check for by deleting your beta character, adding something to the normal bank, and recreating the beta char).

This happened to me, I moved more stuff into my bank after deleting my first character but those changes didn’t happen.

Yeah, I tried that, didn’t work. It’s a one time copy, I’d guess either at beta start time or first character creation time.

Would suggest putting anything you want in the beta into the bank 24 hrs before the beta starts just to be sure.

My bank was definitely copied when I created the character because I’d rearranged a bunch of stuff just before, and it was in the new order on my beta character.

But after that I wasn’t able to change it. If I deleted and re-created the beta character they still had the same stuff in the bank that was in there originally. (It’s the same with currencies in your wallet BTW.)

Just curious if anyone knows, my guess is they probably done it when they added the beta character slots, but kinda hoping that it is yet to be done so i can strip my characters for their armour to be accessible.

It’ll likely be made once it goes live and you create your first beta character. That’s how it was for the last beta test. So make sure everything you want is in your bank before you create your first beta character. If you want to be even safer, do this the night before the beta.

Some suggested it is taken as soon as you create the new bet character, but it is worth some testing when the weekend goes live.

I was dumb and forgot to move a few things in to my bank (namely my ascended GS) before starting this weekend. Am I stuck with exotics now or is there a chance of getting a reset option?

I, too, made a beta character before I’d thrown my Ascended gear into the bank. When I noticed the mistake, I deleted and remade it (after putting the gear in). The bank didn’t update; it looks the same as when I deleted the character. Any ideas to fix this or am I stuck playing lowbie fractals?

Once a beta character is created, the ‘beta account’ is created for the remaining time until ArenaNet wipes the beta accounts.

You may be stuck with that particular ‘dummy bank’ for BWE1 and BWE2.
