Having seen what passes for a pvp community here my money is that it’s serious. These people can only scream nerf at everything.

Revs aren’t OP. In PvP, I hardly ever see them! If they were, in fact, OP I’d suspect they’d be everywhere. Disproven~

I think the one thing the OP doesn’t understand is Concept != Execution efficiency. Just because someone sounds all OP and strong and whatnot, doesn’t mean it’ll perform well and the number are what will really make a difference. You said rangers can crit for 11k. That’s a number, not a “concept that rangers can hit hard from long range”. Wait until we have some concrete data to work with before making any troll posts.

I’m thinking that the Revenant may fill the link in terms of weapon swapping for Soldiers. Each other profession type has one profession who cannot weapon swap, they get their variety of moves via attunements or kits.

What is likely is that the Revenant will not have a large weapon pool, and will use the ‘channels’ to influence their weapon skills, similar to an Engi or Ele.

The sheer amount of people who cant see the sarcasm in this thread is to dang high.

Seriously this thread is pure gold. Now given ANets track record of releasing classes in expansions you can bet this class will be overpowered.
