No mention of underwater combat. A true shame. 3D movement is no problem for them, as the Hang Gliders show, and 3 environmental layers of jungle. It must be combat that is the stumbling block. Perhaps they need to import some developers from successful flight simulator games.
Underwater combat could be a MAJOR expansion of our gaming world if we had separate armors, underwater-specific slot skills, traits, etc. that we automatically switch to when underwater.
the problem with underwater is your traits, and utility skills..
you cannot have different traits for underwater set like your utilities, and there is huge unbalance in what utilities you can and cannot use underwater between the professions..
until that is balanced, I dont think they will focus on underwater at all. which really sucks.
well if really we can climb that high maybe somekind of flying combat? easiest for me it would be to suggest combat similar what was in attack on titan we already will be able to use something to flying
I would say that in a jungle there should be plenty of bodies of water, so I can definitely see underwater combat still existing in new zones. They may experiment with some new underwater events in HoT. We got the major plot points here, I would say improvements like this may be something that comes out between now & release.
