Hi, since free players can access wvw from lvl 60, and you are creating the new maps together with HOT.. does this mean you would not have to buy HOT to play wvw with every one else?? Because i am seriously not interested in any pvp or pve content that has been added to the game. I would love to find out. And i would also like to know what the plans are for the issues admitted with wvw and nightcapping etc.

One last thing, getting lots of new free players on the servers.. would this not agrovate the fact that some servers will have less wvw players than others?!

On top of that, it would be very easy to create accounts to make fake queues and ‘spy’ on other servers.

As for free accounts, the blog information was quite vague on whether free accounts would be able to access the new HoT borderlands map. However, as core players that don’t have HoT purchased will be able to play in the new borderlands map, I find it relatively likely that free accounts will be able to as well.

As for the server population issue; new players are currently unable to make the T1 WvW servers their home as they are listed as being “full”. This is to help the less-populated WvW servers get a new influx of players that might be interested in WvW. So all servers should have their population balanced out eventually.
