I cant get this egg off my back and I see no other stories to do other then my personal story and scarlets war what do I do

The egg should be off your back after you set it in the middle of the underground chamber in Tarir.

Yep, you don’t seem to have completed your personal story.

It’s a bug. If you search through the forums someone else had the same issue and resolved it a couple months ago. I can’t remember what they did exactly but I think they had to replay the part of the story with that egg.

If you finished the egg story on that toon, the egg sack goes away. However, if you come back to that same story again (e.g. for achievements), then it returns and will not go away until you (again) return the egg to Tarir.

I am 99% sure that a development confirmed that this was a bug and they’ll fix it (eventually). If the egg sack bugs you, I wouldn’t wait — finish the relevant stories a second time.

One player’s most annoying bug is another player’s favorite hidden feature?

Although it can be a bit awkward in social situations. People don’t want to mention it but just can’t stop staring….

It’s only on your side that the egg is present. Others can’t see it. Just FYI
