Make "What Scarlet Saw..." a movie
See you in Tyria.
I think this entire forum would agree with you. A lot of players are upset with the writing of Scarlet because we didn’t know much about her. This could have been avoided if this bit of backgroundstory was included ingame at the start of the event.
I woudn’t call it an “amazing story” but it is definitely important to the game and needs to be in the game somehow.
Stop treating GW2 as a single story. Each Season and expansion should be their own story.
Yeah, this info would have much better served the player base IN the game itself somehow. Especially in cutscene form. At least in the style of the opening cutscenes at character creation. In my opinion, the story took Scarlet from flat, cackling Joker knock-off-who-only-knows-the-first-couple-words-to Die Die My Darling, to somewhat interesting cackling Joker knock-off-who-only-knows-the-first-couple-words-to Die Die My Darling.
No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind.

How would ANet show the Eternal Alchemy scenes? It sounds like quite a production and I don’t trust Anet to gather the resources to produce that.
I think they could pull it off in their current motion comic style. Have some scenes whipping by in the bacground while Scarlet’s eyes get huge or something.

Or at the very least they can include it in some sort of documentation form, like say Vorpp has gathered intel about Scarlet as well, and you can interact with a page on a table or something to read the story in game, at least it will help players who don’t bother to check the site or look for the short story to see it in game
Yeah from what i have seen in game she is almost a complete mystery. That story however provided some of what we wanted to know. It did seem to be lacking somewhat, but none the less some story.
Even though i spend time reading forums and checking the website, i know quite a few people who dont. So instead of putting these stories here, why not add them to the game. If the living story rushed scedule cant afford time to make these cutscenes. Then at least provide some text, or a ‘journal’.
