Guild Wars 2

I just love the fact that human Mesmers are into fashion, more than any other profession. Here is a quote from Howland the Elementalist from Guild Wars 1 reacting to the player character if they are a Mesmer.

“What is it, Mesmer? You can’t possibly think I have anything to teach you. I don’t pay attention to the latest fashions. Sebedoh is your man.”

It goes to show, that Mesmers are in fact very classy and elegant. Human mesmers that is.

Apparently over the last 250 years they forgot about fashion and now just borrow their elementalist friend’s armor.

It’s a fair trade, since the elementalists got their masks in exchange.

Traditionally, even “today” human mesmers are regarded as trendsetting fashionista types, with an almost uncanny beauty/physical perfection because they’re blessed by Lyssa.

However, the question has always been….Is it an illusion?
