martial arts profession
There really hasn’t been any previous sign of any hand to hand based professions in gw1 so the chances of it are rather slim. Side note this isn’t really a question that can be answered if anything it’s just a flat no regardless of how you feel bout this because the developers are like wild cards. You could say they might do this but could equally say they could also surf cat surfboards eventually.
I don’t think we’re going to get any new professions. A martial arts profession can be achieved through Thief or Warrior if ANet introduces a knuckle type weapon.

not all monks practice martial training(real life i mean) and the monks of gw1 were more or less just priests with a different name for their profession since all they really did was heal and smite in the names of their gods.

I know, but they looked like martial artists, and that was good enough for many players.
I could see that with their dance but if they did bring in a hand to hand class i’d vote dervish just because it’d allow the class to evolve with the conditions it’s people who made the class have gone through(i’m referencing elona joka and all that good stuff)
I think that if they did put in a martial arts thing it would be in cantha which the devs said there not planing but if they did put it in ( lets all hope they do) it would be really cool
They may not be planning it, but that’s no different from the fact that they aren’t planning an expansion yet either. As in it WILL happen (yes my stance is firm here) but it just isn’t something that’s quite underway yet.
