doesn’t the berserker + valk drop a small amount of precision for vitality?
Rather than being a true 4 stat combo with 2 major, 2 minor stats ( fero and vitality being minor)

There are no marauder stats available for trinkets. The closest you can get was Berserker+ Valkyrie. That was the point. This is the closest you can get at the moment. I am curious how did you farm the blood rubies so fast? I am only getting a few during the meta event. Are you just mining with your alts?

did you really check the wiki page that you linked? it proves that you can obtain marauder trinkets. i actually have marauder rings (the assaulter’s energized loop in the page) raid trinkets provide any stat combination.

i see 6/8 heart of thorns stat combinations in your screenshot (commander’s, minstrel’s, trailblazer’s, vigilant, viper’s and wanderer’s) i just don’t see crusader and marauder. it’s kinda weird. i think it’s a design error, but i don’ know if it’s intentional.

This is kind of frustrating. They said all stat combinations that were only available through raids before would become available through living story, yet they leave out Marauder`s which is the one I was waiting for. They keep being consistently inconsistent with stats availability. -.-

Thinking exactly the same thing.
Finding this out kind of killed a significant part of the update for me. I’m enjoying the mechanics and the story but in terms of gear progression the one thing I really wanted was Marauder trinkets.
Here’s a Dev response (from summary) that may address the issue:
‘We’re going to be adding more ascended rewards in future Living World releases- I picked the ones available in this episode to try and address the biggest gaps from HoT.’
I saw that, but I don’t understand how having a non-raid stat combo locked behind a raid for a few more months increases anyone’s enjoyment of the game.

The “unique” thing is a bit weird alright, unless the next LS update adds another unique ring and accessory, but that’ll be another 2-3 months.
It is possible to have 2 of them i guess, one must be infused and other one not, that way they don’t count as the same item(example on picture)

I am curious how did you farm the blood rubies so fast? I am only getting a few during the meta event. Are you just mining with your alts?
If you complete the pvp/wvw reward track, at the end you have a choice between a helm skin from the new map or 50 blood rubies. Go with the rubies since you get the helm skin from the meta achievement anyhow.
Also VG event gives 4 rubies every time you kill it, and Hablion gives 3. This is not a daily thing, you can do it as many times as you want.

Sooo.. we got 3 Marauder Amulets from the Heart of Thorns Story , who are now all the same….
The ascended amulet changes make the amulets rewards a bit redundant alright. Having the first three sets of achievements all giving us Marauder Amulets was never a good idea anyway, sure a lot of people might use power builds but no love for condition builds (Viper’s) seems odd to me.
Given these changes why not add a vendor to allow us to exchange them for one of the other 4 stat choices? Whether they offer us multiple choices to trade for or not I don’t mind. Either that or leave one of the amulets as an amulet, change one of them to be a ring and the last to be an earring.
You also get 3 functionally identical Crusader Amulets for completing the three Order Collections (Whisper’s Secret, Priory’s History and Vigil’s Honor) these should also be exchangeable for different combos (or two of them changed to a ring and earring).

I suspect that they will be adding ear rings in the next LS update. :/
But can we get rid of notion of “Unique” accessories now? What difference does it make if I wear two Crystalline Bands if there’s no functional difference between slots in the different rings and accessories now?

The Blood Ruby Items have 21 out of 32 possible.

And there’s no logical reason for them to be missing any of those, period.
Nor is there, as has been pointed out, any reason for the rings to be unique.
Indeed, any reason for them to be unique has disappeared completely the moment Anet normalized infusion slots.
The same with HoT story and order amulets. As they are now, there’s no longer any reason for them to be the same stats.
(that’s beside the fact that they really should have been also a vendor unlock, like the ascended stuff from LS2)

Be nice, but probably wishful thinking, if we could get a redname response on the missing stats & the unique status.
I don’t think any of this is a mistake or an oversight. I suspect they are planning on adding other Ascended trinkets in future LS episodes and don’t want to just give everything away now. However this means we’ll be waiting 2-3 months for accessories, 4-6 months for (some of) the missing stat combos on another amulet/ring set and so on.
Be nice, but probably wishful thinking, if we could get a redname response on the missing stats & the unique status.

I really hope this blood ruby band/ring/trinkets do provide all stat options.
I guess Anet left out those options because that would make “legendary trinkets” in the future less attractive.
Since I got legendary backpack I switched stat often (between dps, condi, healing).
The good thing for legendary trinket is that we don’t need to farm those currency in order to switch stat..
So let’s review:

Other than marauders, the rest are not HoT stats. Not to say that I’m against these trinkets having all stats combos.

I suppose that’s why there’s a “reset” option from the vendor? So when new stats come you can swap to them?

My concern remains that the rings you purchase from raid vendors are NOT unique, whereas the ones you can buy in Bloodstone Fen are.

The last patch said they added missing stats.
I don’t have the rubies to buy an amulet & confirm which ones they added.

i just made my first blood ruby ring as attuned infused version.
I haven’t choose a stat yet.
I am wondering if I attended to switch stat, would the ring stayed as attuned infused version or it would become back to normal version (1 infusion slot)?
I was wrong earlier. Anet devs said, that the second ring (as well as earrings) will be available in later LS chapters. So, it seems rings being unique is not an oversight, but just Anet’s attemtp to delay introducing the solution to the problem they themselves created by locking out new statsets behind raiding.

so what new stat are available?
It must be very hard to add all the stats to the new trinkets as it was hard for them to get this chapter done in anything less then 6 months. Give me a break it took 2 hours 2 hours of solo work to finish the story line just to find out another elder dragon has been woken up OOOOO NOOOOOO say it is not so. So now we will wait for them to get this done I’m saying it will take them no less then 24-36 months to get the next expansion out and no less then 6 months for the next chapter. it is a shame it really it the content was so hipped about and we thought it might be bigger then it was we should have known better, we are al fools.
