Elder Dragon is better than Living Story!
The thing I think they’re going to do is eventually lead to elder dragons and zone expansion.
The next elder dragon I think we’re going to see is Leviathan, the underwater elder dragon. Followed by either Mordethim ( think that is how you spell it) the jungle elder dragon or Kralktorlik the crystal elder dragon.
While I agree that a Elder Dragon story is better in terms of epic ness and such, I think there is good reasons not to do it this early. First off elder dragons are a major " ace card" type of content and something I think they would save for expansions. Also I can see elder dragon content getting boring…ok jormag down, next primoridus down next etc. The living world content is awesome to flesh out the world. You get to see people struggle with more down to earth problem such as the molten alliance attack and the refugees looking for homes and the consortium taking advantage of this to profit from a bad situation. It all makes the world feel alive, which is alot better than a static by the numbers mmo. Besides new threats to tyria is also interesting and can develop into another " ace card " type content.
And as far as what dragon is next I highly doubt The Deep Sea Dragon or " bubbles" would be revealed this early. I think it will be one of the last dragons we fight. If at all. Mordremoth is probably next, or jormag, or primoridus they are much closer to the current content and would make more sense as far as expansions are concerned. Just my two cents.
Why would you do so many dungeon runs if you already have the best gear?
I can think of four or five reasons to run dungeons. I do it for fun! If it wasn’t fun for me, I’d go play something else.
As of right now, the living story is tons more interesting than dragon fights (both the meta bosses and personal story).

As far as I see, you guys are probably right. I’m just lore loving maniac, and was afraid that gw2 won’t reach gw1’s glory. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, but I am so eager to fight another Elder Dragon, hope it will be soon.
we won’t see any new Elder Dragons soon till expansion
I also think that next Elder Dragon will come with some expansion but i read somewhere that there won’t be any expansion in 2013
Please guyz, don’t say something like that. Elder Dragons were sold with the BASE GAME. As it appears in every trailer since 2008. They will not come with a paying expansion…
By definition an expansion provides a brand new content. ArenaNet said that they aren’t working on an expansion yet… If you said true, then we wouldn’t see any new dragon in 2013. Please be more hardheaded.

Even though we don’t know exactly how many Elder Dragons there are as some may not have revealed themselves yet, their number is limited. The amount of stories to be told, however, is only limited by imagination.
What would we do after running out of Elder Dragons? I fear the last Elder Dragon might be the end of GW2. I also agree that it would get boring if we had nothing esle to go for and no time to just play.
I don’t worry about what we will do after killing all Elder Dragons. Know that it’s NCsoft which decide when and what to launch. If Guild Wars 2 stop giving them enough money, they will launch an expansion. As they said (http://massively.joystiq.com/2013/05/14/ncsoft-clarifies-stance-on-guild-wars-2-expansion/) they are on an idle stance, ready to command an expansion launch.
lol i want them to bring back the first 1 lol by saying it revived it self, another dragon rezzed it, or it wasn’t dead completly and we get a 12+ man instance to kill it lol
if all the elder dragons go on and be defeated then the’ll be another big bad, simples. however we at least know there is;
the water dragon (Leviathan?)
The forest dragon
the crystal dragon.
now all these stories could be lengthy and although they may involve elder dragons they themselves might not be present 24/7.
i don’t think we are necessarily going to be waiting until an expansion for another elder but there will be one in it, the expansion i think will be on the Tengu.
as for expansions i think people are being very single-minded you might find if GW2 does well enough there may very well never be a boxed expansion, that’s not to say they will stop adding content, however. its obvious Anet are taking a different approach to this tittle than any others on the market currently.

is it really that hard to google the correct spelling?
1.) the deep sea-dragon’s name is unknown
2.) Jungle dragon Mordremoth
3.) Kralkatorrik
Dont forget Primordius and Jormag
Jormags an elder dragon?
- well i’ll be, he was rather underwhelming pfft.
You’re mixing up Jormag and The Claw of Jormag
and that i am, what a kitten brain!
While I can agree personal story overall would be better than living story I kind of wish the living story- at least at some point- would incorperate and/or expand what was learned on in Arah explorable (though they could take a path per Dragon if they were inclined to :c )
