It’s possible that Aerin discovered something on the ship that meant that he had to sabotage it to prevent something bad from happening. After all, he didn’t appear overly insane when he got on the ship so something must have happened to him up there.

Twas exactly what I was suspecting, especially as the Master of Peace wandered off without telling anyone where or what he was going. In fact, why was he in that cavern in the first place?

And the Master of Peace is (drum roll) Snaff, still upset about being trapped in the body of a steam creature for all that time, but getting closer and closer to perfecting his mind-jump technique. Egad, now I’m worried that he’s going to mind-jump into Scruffy!

I am making a prediction now that the Master of Peace has ulterior motives and may even have sabotaged the Zephyr Sanctum himself. I wonder if Aerin was actually trying to catch him to bring him to justice…
Considering Aerin is talking to himself like Scarlet was, and multiple NPCs who have survived have pretty much pointed to Aerin, I doubt this is it. But I do believe that he knows the secret to defeating an Elder Dragon permanently, or at least on how to stop their corruption, which would explain his journey.

I’m wondering if the Master of Piece has something to do with the Master of Whispers. Maybe they both belong to a long-forgotten illuminati-like clan or something. Would be awesome!
