Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I’d think it’d be awesome if they made llama’s available as Ranger pets!
Southsun Cove gave Rangers the reef drake, so it’s entirely possible to make llamas a thing.

Have you ever have a llama spit at you? I think torment is the perfect way to describe it. ;-)

Make this happen, ANet! Just let us give them hats, and make their F2 be “Stab 37 times in the chest”, which kills people.

Llamas are also very protective though.

Lama Drama GIEV NAO ! I mean … yes I concurr about rangers getting lama pets.

I could totally see my ranger with a Juvie Llama by her side. It would be glorious! Especially if they make their attack the same as the deer in Queensdale, with a fear-inducing bleat. Just think:

Llama: *bounce*bounce*bounce*
rears up on hind legs
*whap*whap*whap*whap*
Maa-a-a-a-a-a-aaaaa
*whap*whap*whap*whap*
Maa-a-a-a-a-a-aaaaa
Foe: “AUUUGGHHH”

Yes! Pet llamas would be amazing.

Also while llamas are not normally aggressive in the same way as some predators they are herd animals and can be very protective of their herd. In many countries they’re actually used as guard animals to defend against predators. When they do decide to fight they can inflict a lot of damage with bites and kicks (although I agree that their F2 would absolutely have to be a spitting attack).

We already have pet pigs, ravens, moas and others that are not normally considered aggressive or dangerous in real life (I’m aware moas are extinct, but they did coexist with humans for a while and the GW2 ones seem to be based on large flightless birds in general). In GW1 we even had pet panda and I never got tired of seeing other played in PvP run away from a deadly killer panda bumbling along after them.

Never gave it much thought but hells to the yeah Llama’s! I really hope we’ll get that now and seems somewhat of a no-brainer.

DO WANT. My ranger is just my alt but I’d play her more if I got a llama. Lol.

Wouldn’t mind more pets for my Ranger’s menagerie, so /signed. Although, if they introduce a “Ruminant” pet class, I want a Deer, Bull and (especially) Moose pet.

Deer are awesome. They kick kitten. And anything else in their way.

So it’s unanimous. Llamas must be added as a tameable pet.

F2 as a spit or some sort of aoe “bleat”

And I like Zaxares idea of a bull pet too. Though I think we need bull and cow pets, for added variety. Cow F2 = udder squirt.

That’s pacifistic, and no actually they are not. Llamas are frequently placed in herds with other animals like sheep and cattle who do not fight, as protection to them, they have been known to fend off foxes, wolves, and larger predators even to the point of killing them.

I’d make a ranger in a heartbeat if juvenile llamas were added.

Then I’d name it Carl and try to get it to destroy everything in sight.
