New dungeon is great
Well… it doesn’t really qualify as a dungeon in my opinion, and I don’t think it was really that challenging, but it was enjoyable. And let’s face it, anything beats Canach’s Lair.
It was fun, but really no challenge involved. Wasn’t exactly tuned that way.

Erm… by new dungeon are you referring to Scarlet’s funhouse, aka the arena in a personal instance?

Yeah, but I wasn’t comparing it to anything. It just wasn’t that challenging.
The new “dungeon” is cute but short, forgettable and laughably easy.
I thought the difficulty was just perfect for a solo run, although it’s kinda funny that it actually gets HARDER the more people you have along. Going in with 3 people (including one total newbie) and having two Elite Twisted Nightmares spawn during Faren’s phase just made for a hilarious death.

The new dungeon is not great. It’s easily solo-able. The Aetherblade dungeon was far better.

Cool instance. It has the mechanics i like to see in a game like this – you as a player have some breathing room to figure out what you need to do, boss doesn’t have huge amount of health and one-shot mechanics. Reminds me somewhat of story paths from SE and i think it was the COF dungeons (end bosses).
For an interesting dungeon/instance/boss I like to see some sort of a puzzle – where you need to figure out what you need to do in order to take a boss down – “cannonballs are my only weakness”, lol. Of course, stuff like this can have different degrees of challenge – i don’t like it when it’s super easy or super difficult, something in the middle is what the developers should aim for…
