Hi,

It would be nice if creatures in Dry Top belonged to their groups

• Creature type
• Region

Examples :

• Today we have a daily achievement for killing 40 creatures in Maguuma. I killed a few in Dry Top, this achievement still says “0/40”.
• In Dry top and in Story, I killed a lot of tendrils. My Plant Slayer achievement (last one with Giants) didn’t move. I have high hopes on Season 2 for this one to progress naturally.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the Maguuma achievement this morning, but I honestly think it was just an oversight on the developer’s part, and the achievements were not updated.

It would be nice if they could be updated at some time, as I am quite convinced we will be seeing more of Maguuma in the future.

Dry Top is probably the first zone of a new region, and, depending if the tendrils are revealed to be Mordy’s minions, they could get their own Killer achievement like Zhaitan’s minions did.

I also noticed with surprise the Maguuma killer didn’t move o.O

There’s been 2 patches since I tried so maybe they’ve fixed it by now.

During storyquests, kills also don’t count for either guardian’s traited F1 (recharge on kill) or for stacking sigils like bloodlust.

Maguuma Wastes will be the new region. Notice if you log off a character when in Dry Top, the background in character select is something new. Every region has its background.

As others have said, Dry Top is part of a new Maguuma Wastes region rather than the old Maguuma Jungle region (none of the explorable zones of which, by the way, are actually located inside the Maguuma Jungle).
