Are we getting the patch preview page for the January 21st patch tomorrow? (If we follow the prior trends..)

Only ANet know for sure, but I think it’s probable that it’ll be tomorrow.

Chances are yes. I’d suspect them to make a song and dance about it. Seeing as there are only 4 left.

I’ve been wondering this, and I don’t see why there wouldn’t be a preview tomorrow, but you never know.

I hope there will be.
Very curious as to what’s coming, and anxious as well.
I’m sure I’m not the only one…

From what I’ve heard, the next patch will largely be a recap of the story so far. Don’t expect too much excitement, I think that will come in the three patches after it.

need an official release page update. having it link to a blog post is a bummer. unless Anet has something better in mind that i haven’t thought of. either way PATCH PREVIEW PLZ.

Is it just me or does the music at the start sound a bit like the FF battle theme?

Meh another, one time only event probably which will be so crowded you can’t play the game.. but still, I like the new healing skill thing going on. Give us more skills!

I thought my hearing was going bad, so I’m kind of glad it’s not just me :-)

I don’t know if the voice actor skipped a few words on the sentence he (or she, i don’t know) was reading, or if they were omitted on purpose.
This is what it sounded like to me:

“She has grad designs.” (Grand, if said like you had a cold…)

“She succeed at all costs.” (This makes no sense to me whatsover, so maybe i missed a word that was inaudible?"

“Even if she has to kill every last one of you!”

It’s a new world boss, but by the sounds of it, it’s the next Teq-like encounter?

Anyone else thought the music horribly out of place? It sounded like it was made to predict the end of the world… and all I see is a stupid wurm and an even more pathetic giant watchknight. O_O

From that “press link” there is only 1 thing interesting. The rest are marketing “bla blas” and stuff that will most likely end up being boring.

Yes, they plan to deliver expansion-style content via LW. I hope they will start soon.

I’d have to pass on that were it the case. Call me old fashioned but I like my expansions in a box with a disc.

A massive digital download would be ok I suppose, but I don’t need two week gating to tell me how to play content.
