Weren’t we told that Season 2 would reveal the identity of ‘E’? Is s/he just an abandoned plot thread, or have I missed something?

Maybe we have an epilogue coming which will show us?

Jokes aside, yeah they said that. Didn’t we get an epilogue at the end of Season 1, Aftermath or something was it called.

Yes, we did, which is why I am thinking we might be getting one this time around as well.

There are a lot of unanswered questions sadly. Hopefully season 3 or expansion story wont set so many up without being more forthcoming with answers.

An epilogue will be nice though to tie some of this stuff up

This season was essentially like Lost… it added a crap ton of questions and answered very few…

Hopefully we get some answers soon.

After they blew up a ship with two of my favourite characters on it at once, I really need an epilogue ç-ç
I have no idea at all of who E can be. Really, not even a hunch.

PS.: While I hope my guys are alive, even knowing that they are not would be better than not knowing at all for the next 6 months or so.

It’s the Executioner (Legendary Mordremoth Executioner).

E stands for Elder Dragons. It’s actually Mordremoth writing letters to us for subtle psychological warfare.

If I remember correctly there was a short story about Marjory and how she chased some necromancer who killed someone who was about to tell her some secret. After he escaped E came from behind her and put a dagger on her neck or hand on mouth or both I can’t remember, told her he was a friendly and gave her some info and simply vanished. It can’t be the dragons

I believe it’s a silent E. When we figure out who E is, we win. Therefore, it’s Wynne!

The “E” is either Evon Gnashblade or Ellen Kiel, as that would leave us with an
“E-named-winner” in the Cutthroat Politics, no matter who came out as the winner.
If anyone wondered, the probability that both of those two people got names starting with an “E” at the same time on coincidence is about 0.15%, or 1 out of 676 times. That is not very likely to be a coincidence, and it pretty much speaks for itself. Evon or Ellen.
