I stood on the rock BEFORE the event started and didn’t fall of the rock the entire fight and still didn’t get the achievement? What gives; is this bugged or is there something I dont know about?

You must not fall off the top portion with the torches. If you fall down to the part with the aspect crystal, you fail.

I’m aware, I was literally ON Nochtli’s butt the entire fight and still didn’t get it. It’s mildly frustrating.

People have been posting about this in the bug forum, you may want to go and give the topic there a bump.

I got it and I wasn’t even in the fight. I was killing a champ below it and got the achievement. Granted I did abort an attempt of the achievement in favor of a champ kill.

Nochtli has been horribly bugged since the release of the Gates of Maguuma. Sometimes when you are killing her like a boss on top of the rock and you’re perfectly NOT getting knocked off (because you obviously know how to play and dodge), you have some randoms joining the fight, THEY get knocked off and you are NOT, yet Nochtli’s health starts resetting back to full… although you’re literally attacking her while this is happening. Thus, unless you try veeeery early in the morning (like I did), it might take you several tries until you get the achievement completed.

Hmm, so maybe the way the achievement works is that if you tag her, and her lifebar never starts to reset, then you get points, even if you fall, because if you’re soloing it then her lifebar resetting is what causes the achievement to fail.
