Guild Wars 2

So recently started playing gw2, after trying it out for a day i upgraded my account (yesterday). So today I’m playing an i decided to buy some weapons and gear out of the trading post, only to be hit with a notification window saying I have to wait 4 days to be able to buy most of the items that are listed. While waiting a day isn’t an issue, 4 days is another story. Is there no way around this?

I suppose you could find a friend willing to buy them for you and send them to you for you to repay in a few days.

Hmm, “validation” – have you set up the 2-stage security for your account? That’s either the authenticator, or SMS security depending on which you chose (or which you prefer if you had not yet done it).

So it is possible that if you have not yet applied a 2-stage security for your account, it will unlock briefly afterwards. But I don’t know this for a fact I’m afraid, so it will be most likely that you have to wait for 4 days.

The reason behind this is to prevent new accounts (namely, free accounts owned by gold sellers and other like-minded people) from completely draining the BLT stock and causing prices to skyrocket for paying players.

@Zalladi i applied the 2nd stage already but i did also get in contact with customer support but they said that everyone has to go through this 4 day period so nothing can be done but thx

There is up to a 4 day wait for that just to make sure that it was not someone else taking over your credit card or a gold seller hacking into your stuff. My other half bought the Ultimate expansion and while he got into the beta last weekend he did not get the other things that came with it for 3 or 4 days.
