I asked the same question about the Influence but never got an answer. I know the official line is that it goes to your home server, but I feel like they were talking about if I’m repping my guild while guesting on another server (because that’s what people had been asking about before), and not necessarily what happens if I join a guild on the server I’m guesting on and rep for that guild while I’m there (i.e. if I join my friends to help them progress their guild on their server can I actually contribute to helping them or is guesting completely and totally limited to just being in the same place, which is at least a decent start [as long as you happen to be in the same region]).
I don’t expect to gain the bonuses from the guild when I’m not there, but at the very least I should be ale to contribute Influence while there (and no we can’t just transfer to be on the same one, we’re both deeply invested in guilds on our separate servers, because hey they’ll having guesting we don’t need to make sure we’re on the same servers… -.- )

Hmmm, that is an interesting question. I figure, if all Influence always goes back to your home server, then presumably other guild related actions would as well, such as buying Influence and accessing the guild bank. So likely you would not be able to access the other worlds version of you’re guild bank (now that I think about it that’s most likely entirely to keep people from taking advantage of the guesting feature to expand their available personal guild storage for free, otherwise you could simply guest to any number of servers and access that servers version of your guild bank instead of buying gems to get bank tabs).
But this is entirely (cynical) speculation on my part. So yeah, if someone in the know could give a clear and detailed explanation on these particular aspects of guesting, both Influence and bank, just so we have a definitive answer (since, you know, the thing launches in 3 days, they have to know by now right?), that’d be fantastic.

Something occurred to me this morning..I don’t think I’ve seen it addressed. Or maybe I’ve just misssed it. When you “guest”? Do you have to take your entire account (all alts) or can you “guest” with one toon only?

, when I’m guesting on Server B and representing Guild B, will I get benefits from Guild B? Will I contribute in Influence gathering on Server B? Just as if I would have Server B as my home server? I know if I’m on Server B, representing my Guild A, my Influence goes to the “Server B Influence pool” of Guild A. Could a sweet Dev explain this in an answer?
