As the title say, been playing for a while and haven’t really thought about it until now. And I don’t want to waste them so I’m wondering if there’s some sort of consensus about what is the wisest use of those currencies?

Laurels – Ascended accessories/amulets/rings?
Karma – No idea…
Badges of Honor – Just exotic gear?

Depends, are you using them to gear your toons or just for profit?
If for gearing.
Laurels: ascended trinkets.
Karma: exotic armor and/or obsidian shards, but I would save.
BoH: Save those, the armors that aren’t the PVT one also cost gold to get and is almost the same price from TP, also those can’t be salvaged or used in the Mystic Forge, so just save them for now.

If you are looking for profit:
Laurels: Material kit (the T6 one)
Karma: Orrian boxes can be a nice idea if you a lot of karma to waste, like over 800k karma.
BoH: This isn’t a very profitable thing, just keep saving, who knows when Anet release something cool for those?

Karma can be used to get Exotic gear and Obsidian Shards (used in Ascended crafting). Both require desired Orr Temples to be OPENED (but the server guesting feature makes this much more feasible now).

The other 2 are mostly right (but look at the wiki lists of what you CAN buy for them and decide yourself….really depends on what you do in the game as to what can be most useful).

TL;DR in case you dislike arguments and decide to trust a stranger.

I’d like to add:
Laurels: Aim for the trinkets that aren’t rings, rings can be easily obtained by doing Fractals (guaranteed reward of 1 token per daily (there’re more than 1 ‘daily’) and 10 tokens trade for any ring you’d like.)

Badge of Honor Sometimes I also find the WvW-gear worth it but only if the whole set would cost me ~25g+ on the TP (though I prefer to use Dungeon Tokens since there Token → Gold ratio tends to be worse.) This is because ~1 badge is worth 42 Copper if you buy blueprints and sell it, the Armor costs 950 badges and 5g 44s per set. Usually Rams/Arrow Carts are your best bet, but always check (assuming you have no use for Badges and want gold.) I tend to do this for the daily if I have little time to complete any others available. The Invaders armor (Power/Toughness/Vitality) is the exception by costing 1689 badges, resulting in +/- 7g 9s 38c.

Karma
For Karma to Gold I found Orrian Boxes very lacking (maybe it was bad luck?) I tend to go to the heart-trader above the Sorrowful Waypoint in Bloodtide Coast and buy Crab-grabbing gloves (light) and put 4 in the mystic forge and sell/salvage the result (which is often Linen.) But I’d highly recommend saving it since it’s difficult to obtain and required in Legendary and Ascended-crafting. I once again only do this if I have little time to otherwise complete my daily.

TL;DR
Laurels to gear – Buy Ascended Amulet/Accessories, not Rings.
Laurels to gold – t6 Crafting bags
Badges to gear – Only if the set would cost 25g+ on the TP, or 7g+ for Invaders (Soldier’s)
Badges to gold – Blueprints, currently Arrowcarts are best, closely followed by Rams.
Karma to Gear – I recommend against this since Karma has become difficult to obtain.

Do NOT buy accesories with laurels, they are much cheaper if you buy them with Guild Commendations (12 GC + 5g per accesory). Other than that, I agree.

You can also buy ascended amulets and rings from the laurel vendor in WvW for laurels plus badges of honor. It works out at 10 Laurels cheaper http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Laurel_merchant#Ascended_Gear

That’s how I use them. Not necessarily the best way for you, but there it is.

Laurel : I use them to buy Amulet, WvW Infusion and bags of tier 6.
Karma : I use them all to buy obsidian shard (ascended crafting or legendary)
BoH : I use them to buy Gift of Battle (for legendary) and for WvW Siege.

- I have already most of my amulet i need, so now i keep 40 laurels just in case and all the remaining go into bags for Tier 6.
- For Karma, i buy obsidian shard when i need them, don’t use karma on anything else, except some special things that cost almost nothing (spy kits, cooking crafting material, etc).
- For BoH I keep them, use them only when i have a daily spender or when I have no more siege.
