Hi there, for my dailies I got " Daily veteran kills" I have killed well over 10 veterans and I havent got a single point of credit towards it. Is anyone else having this issue?

Ok found a fix…kinda
Now I did the daily achievements OTHER people had and it gave me my dailies. so revive 15 dead people and kill 13 enemies for daily kill variety and you should get your dailies. Post here if it works!

Same issue, the achievement wont update for Veteran kills, both event and non-event kills do nothing. Also have tried champs to no avail.

I got the same daily with the same problem. Even though I end up killing any veteran or event veterans they don’t count towards the daily.

Check your timezone setting and make sure your computers clock is set to the right time.

Once updated the achievements should update within 20 seconds.

If thats the case this is still a bug, as the daily should be using the servers time not clients.

You’re kidding right? And I am being serious in asking… Because what you said seems to make no sense. Why should it show me “Tomorrow’s Daily Achievements”? Because, by definition, I shouldn’t be able to work on them until Tomorrow or they aren’t “Daily Achievements”.

Also my clock is set to the correct time zone. And I’ve got it set to sync with a time server every time I start my computer. So that’s not the issue either.

I actually thought I wasn’t getting credit because I kept getting disconnected. But now that I know others aren’t getting credit for these. I wonder if I was getting disconnected because the server was having trouble keeping track of, or updating, my progress. All I know is that if things don’t improve I’ll quit playing.

To many other games out there…

This is a display issue, you can still complete today’s achievements and get the chest even without ever seeing today’s display (as long as you know what they are).

Changing the clock forward (or backwards if you are seeing tommorrow’s achievements) will fix the display issue.

You were absolutely right! We’re using a server in the USA and live in Japan. I changed the date on my computer and it fixed the problem with my dailies immediately. Thanks for the info!!

Yup. My clock was set one day ahead for whatever reason. Changing it to the correct date solved my problem as well.

I had the same problem. Apparently my time zone was incorrectly set. After setting it the daily achievements fixed themselves.

Oh also – any good ideas on where Vets spawn regularly? I tried frozen maw … but I think there are better areas. Know of any?

smariereuter-6079 – I hope you are correct. I’ll try to find and kill 10 vets. I hope I’ll get a chest even though my daily counter is incorrect.

Kind of confusing though because my clock is correct, my daily shows two vets completed … and every other daily is working.

And they all worked yesterday.

Try Gendarran Fields and Harathi Hinterlands. There are several Veteran Harathi around there.

I was at 80% of veteran kills, running around with a bunch of folks doing events + veterans in Kessex hills. I stayed on 80% even as we kept repeating the events/veterans. I went elsewhere and killed a few veterans i hadn’t killed before and got my 100%.

Not sure, but it seems like I didn’t get credit for repeating the same veterans

Personally..I just jumped into WvW and took one camp. All of the camp’s npcs are vets exception to the quarter master.
