I was wondering which items and products I should buy from the gems store.
I was thinking an outfit and an extra crafting license?

Could somebody experienced please tell me?

I wouldn’t buy that crafting license. It just increases the number of professions you can
have active at the same time on one character. However you can always learn every
profession on one character and switch them for some money, or better just spread
them over your alts.

An outfit is always nice especially for leveling new characters, so you don’t need to
use transmutation charges every time you get new equipment
However you can’t mix and match outfits, you can only hide the headwear.

It’s entirely up to you. Everything in the gem store is either cosmetic (skins, minis etc.) or convenience items. So it really comes down to what you like.

The only things I’ve bought are 2 bank tabs and a character slot when they were on sale, a set of permanent gathering tools, an outfit and mini pets. My husband thinks I wasted my money, then made his first priorities musical instruments and a kite!?

If there’s an outfit you like and the extra crafting licence would come in useful then get them. If not get something else, or save the gems until you find something you do want.

And yeah, I agree, a kite and musical instrument, are not the best…

Character slots are really the only thing you will actually need. Not only can you experience all the classes in the game and keep them, but you can also use them for their inventory space.

As convenience goes, buy everlasting tools, they are very very very handy. Copper-fed-salvage-o-matic is also very useful. And if you chance upon a permanent Royal Pass or Captain’s Airship Pass (the permanent ones, not the limited nonsense), buy one of those – they are incredibly convenient.

Copper-Fed Salvage O Matic is the absolute best item you can buy from the Gem Store.

If you are new I’d buy Copper-Fed Salvage O Matic. If it’s not your first character I’d buy skins. The reason for this is because if you are new and you take outfits you might skip some interesting armor sets and there is nothing better than creating your own mix of armor parts. Character slots are also nice, it’s never enough of char slots.

Ofc. Virtual things > Real life things…

Copper Salvage Kit, Permanent Bank Express and Minis imo.

What I like to take is upgrades for my account – character unlocks, bank tab unlocks, and collection unlocks. Those are all very useful to me – I have plenty of space to keep my stuff, and that’s important!

The only reason I didn’t take the Copper Salvage, or any gathering tools, is because I would have to switch them across characters – and I play many of them regularly!
