Group content
If you want group content, press B and go to Edge of the Mists. Hope you picked a nice server like Crystal Desert too.
Sea of Sorrows. If server changes are possible and you’d recommend one I’ll absolutely do it. And thankyou very much for the advice I really appreciate it!
Also use one of the many timer web sites/apps to check for dynamic events http://guildwarstemple.com/dragontimer/
Sea of Sorrows meh it’s ok I guess. I don’t suggest server changes unless they’re heavily on sale (discounted) or free. You can always guest on another server in your region NA or Europe.
Yeah I made the poor decision to pick the server that had a cool name. Other than that do you have any other recommendations for making the leveling process more enjoyable? I really want to get the most out of this game because I truly love the pvp and want to love the pve as well.
If you don’t have PVE zergs in Queensdale or Harathi Hinterlands on Sea of Sorrows then I suggest guesting on Jade Quarry, Blackgate or Tarnished Coast to see if there are any groups there that just go around farming champions. Otherwise, follow the schedule of Dynamic events…. Frozen Maw in Wayfarer Foothills, Fire Elemental in Metrica Province, Great Jungle Wurm in Caledon Forest, Shadow Behemoth in Queensdale, Slay the Shatterer, Kill the Dredge Commissar, Kill Inquest Golem Mark II, etc.
Try WvW, it can be rather fun. Since SoS is tier 2, your experience should be quite dynamic and the place should have a good amount of people. Or you can move to Jade Quarry and help us hunt blackgates, that’s always fun! With Season 2 around the corner (hopefully), WvW will get really nice.
If you preffer strictly PvP, gather glory. For 1.500 glory and some silver you can buy a Tome of Knowledge, which gives your character 1 level.
You should also use the dragontimer thingie – jump from world boss to world boss. You will get nice XP and cool loot.

I was coming in to post exactly this. Guesting is free (I think you can only guest on two different servers per day – someone PLEASE correct me if I’m wrong) and it’ll give you a good feel of what that server offers.
I’ve not guested to another server as of yet (I mostly do PvE), but it’s pretty painless from what I’ve read about it & understood. Look me up in game if you’re ever on Ehmry Bay server; I’m not adverse to partnering up with people on PvE things.
One thing I didn’t see (forgive me if I missed it): you say you’re going to gw2lfg.com, but you haven’t mentioned trying the in-game lfg feature. They added that awhile back and I understand it works pretty well for dungeon content. Open your Friend’s tab and it’s the second tab down on the window. There’s options for dungeons, open world, fractals, etc.
Main? What “main”? I play all of them sooner or later.
