Guardian or Warrior
They are both equally useful.
I enjoy them both.
I play all 8 Professions. I uploaded a youtube video recently that shows you how they all play in a short 6 minute video. Check it out and see what may interest you!
Here is the linK:
Also if you are new to the game, I highly recommend you to check out this guide I wrote regarding Combat and how the mechanics work:

pve- both are pretty useful, warrior edges ahead imo
pvp- guardian wins
enjoyable- warrior
Necromancer
Fort Aspenwood
berserk warrior – much faster and much wider variety of dungeon groups forming.
I play both, have a guardian at 80 and a warrior in the 50s somewhere.
guardian: feels like a more active support role.
warrior: feels like more damage and offensive focused.
doing support on a warrior is effective, but it feels more passive.
doing offense on a guardian is also effective, but it feels less powerful.
they are both fun, but few things are as entertaining as a quickened hundred-blades
Well I have played a guardian all my time in gw2 and I learn something new every day. I would never choose any other class over him. <3
Guardian is something you take when you haven’t done the dungeon before, that extra bit of support can be a lifesaver. However once you’ve started learning it/it’s a very easy dungeon (CoF p1 for instance) then warrior all the way, it’s superior DPS hitting right where you need it can make certain events much easier now that you know what to do.
