Guild Wars 2

I have been to PvP and looked at all the classes. I have cleaned my account with no chars. But I need what you people think here is what im looking for in a class:

*Tons of aoe damage

• Very fun to play/fast paced

*Nice mobility

*Good in dungions

*Med. Survivability!

Help please ASAP

The problem here is that ‘tons of AoE damage’ + ‘good in dungeons’ = Elementalist, but it’s anything but ‘med survivability’.

Guardians also do quite some AoE damage, but reliably only in melee range. It’s high survivability and good in dungeons, but its mobility is crud.

‘Nice mobility’ + "good in dungeons’ = Warrior, but because it’s basically ‘spam skill 2’, ‘very fun to play’ is questionable.

There isn’t a class that does all 4 of what you want.

in my honest opinion, i think elementalist would suit you best

it’s all of the above with the GLARING EXCEPTION of med survivability

fun to play is subjective though, i’d suggest creating an elementalist, then heading into the mists and playing around with skills there, that way you’ll get a better picture of what elementalists are like at level 80 and what they can do

in the mists your automatically bumped up to level 80 with all skills unlocked, and a weapons vendor nearby gives out every single type of weapon for free, but only in the mists

If you’re a new player though, I’d caution against judging elementalists too harshly at the start.

The skill floor for it is so high that if you’re not used to the core game mechanics yet, you’ll almost certainly be spending all your time on the floor, especially in a PvP environment. It will be almost certainly not fun for nearly anyone if it’s the first thing they try.

But after a while, because of the same reason of having ridiculously involved gameplay, it’s also one of the more fun classes around for me.

To duplicate that feeling on a guardian I had to underlevel my equipment by 10+. XD

Yeah because Elementalist is just awesome!

Scepter/ Staff Eles do great AoE damage. It’s hard to spec an Ele that can survive well and dish out great AoE damage though.

Condition Necros and Mesmers can do great AoE condition damage . Same with Grenade Engineers. <———-All of these have med. survivability.
