How can a warrior reach the max speed?
GS, Sw/Wh, and signet of rage
Assuming they did not have swiftness, the trait Warriors Sprint (I think that is the name) gives a warrior a 25% boost with melee weapons equipped.
Warrior’s sprint is pretty bad, its only useful if you take warbanner instead of SoR for whatever reason (like say for Lupi). perma swiftness on warrior is actually very easy, just pop SoR and warhorn and don’t even need to trait. Other classes can also get perma swiftness too, though I believe its a little trickier. Eles for instance, can also get perma swiftness without needing to trait, but they need to be camping staff and have their arcane skills slotted.. which is inconvenient in most cases.

No.
Ele has the easiest permswift, Lightning Hammer’s skill 5 creates a static field, blast it with whatever blast finishers you have. You should be able to get at least 3 finishers off.
That gives 1 minute of swiftness every 30 seconds unbuffed. A fully compatible build can proc 2 minutes every 30 seconds, but it’s completely unnecessary given that 1min/30 seconds is already full uptime. However, permswift does not make a class fast at all.
Greatsword skills 5 and 3 with Warrior’s Sprint give much better mobility AND damage than camping a warhorn. The Warrior is the 2nd fastest class in the game because of these skills – which are far more significant than any kind of permaswift.

Which is the fastest class?

I would like to see ANY (other) class try to outrace in open field a warrior with GS/Sword+Warhorn, Signet of Rage and Bull’s Charge…
Thief with max range, max cooldown-reduced Steal used on random white mobs in the area, Shadowstep and Shortbow 5- skillspam. Initially the thief will burst off much faster, then the warrior will catch up a bit because of the thief’s lack of swiftness, then the thief will burst off again.
It’s not ‘recommended’ since this leaves you with little stealth, but it’s faster for sure.
Also, if trying to be fast in a GSWarrior, turn Autotargeting OFF or skill 5 will ram you into random yellow mobs for no reason at all.

Since we’re probably talking about PvP, switching autotargeting off should be the first thing you do, no matter what profession or build you’re playing.

which is SoR?
GS = Greatsword
SoR = Signet of Rage

Use Signet of Rage with 30% Boon Duration and Signet CD trait. Alternatively, you can combine the Signet CD trait with Healing Signet and Runes of the Centaur.
You can trait the latter with the trait from the Power tree that removes conditions on heal and you will heal yourself, remove movement-impeding conditions and gain Swiftness in battle conditions at the cost of health regeneration.
Warhorn is also good, but beware that its only 50% uptime without BD. But it can also remove movement-impeding conditions and be traited to remove one extra condition in a manner similar to Shake It Off.
I’m usually really sweet… but this an internet forum and you know how it has to be.

Signet of Rage for swiftness (get reduced cooldown on signet trait for more uses)
Greatsword [#3, #5 (turn off autotarget)] — both good movement skills
Sword/Warhorn [#2 (movement skill), #4 (for more swiftness)]
Bulls Charge (movement skill)
You can cross a map faster than any other class with this setup. Permanent swiftness and 4 movement skills.

I don’t see how Ele has easier perma swiftness than warrior. If you are running around map, its still inconvenient to drop LH. even with 3 blasts you only get 30sec swiftness and LH has a 60sec cooldown. meanwhile warrior gets 1min swiftness easy with only 3 skills, and they don’t need to blast any fields. i say untraited, because the current warrior build (for PvE at least) usually has 0 in discipline. its not needed anyway.

Thief needs random targets, warrior needs nothing.
Êasiest perma swiftness in the game? That´s engi. Speedykits traited, grenade and bomb kit is perma swiftness

This.
Take Speedy kits trait and simply swap to a kit and swap back to your weapon. When the swiftness is about to run out, swap to the kit again. No need to muck about with blast finishers or bother with weapon skills or boon duration. Always swiftness all the time.
