So basically got a gaming mouse, did some reading, “MACROS ARE NOT ALOUD” is the general feeling I’m getting from the topics cause people can bot or something..

All I want to know is… Can I set a macro for 100 clicks of the left mouse button? It’s just so I can open 50 Loot bags, consume 50 essence with 1 click instead of 100 clicks.

I can do that yes? Or no?

So basically I can’t open 50 loot bags with 1 click?

If that’s the case has anyone ever suggested that right clicking the loot stacks could have an option to “Open All”?

It has issues with being interrupted by, let’s say, running out of inventory space.

Even things like auto-opening karma consumables (which definitely does not have this problem) have been suggested before, but it hasn’t showed in an update yet.

You can also bind your mouse wheel scroll through your mouse software or remapping software to the click action, it is technically 1:1 action. A lot of players do this for this reason.

I’m getting pretty tired of the carpal tunnel interface as well…

its against the rules. but yet to hear anyone getting punished for opening bags with ‘smart’ mouses. if you know what i mean

I have mine set to the 12 on the thumb grid on my naga, where it just keeps clicking and clicking until I stop pushing it down, I have no intention of killing my fingers clicking thousands and thousands of times. I have been using this for the last year +, also, I believe it is fine, as you have to have whatever window open and the mouse hovered over it the entire time, its not essentially botting and neither is it giving me an unfair advantage other then not hurting my fingers.

Because this falls under the “1 click 1 action” rule. Everytime you rotate the mouse wheel a bit you input 1 simulated click.

I take it to mean you can program a single click or a single button combination (i.e. CTRL + ALT), but NOT a series of button presses (and certainly not a repetitive or looping series of button presses).
