Guild Wars 2

So all I need to finish this title is 4 exotics (50/54 including the Balthazar one).

Might be a silly request, since I’m guessing that all of them combined might only make enough for 1, maybe 2 of the exotics if I sold them, but since I only need them for the title, I don’t plan on keeping any of them.

If anyone is willing to lend the exotics to me just for the title, I’d be perfectly happy giving away any of the other minis that you need for yours. You can have your exotics back along with any requested minis for your own title.

I’m making this thread simply because I had the idea of sharing minis with a guildie, who would get the exotics and I would get everything else and we should share through the guild bank, but he hasn’t logged in for a long time.

I recognise that there are trust implications doing something like this, but I I don’t plan on throwing away an account with 8.8k points for something as petty as that. Write down my account name, whatever measures you want to take. Probably doesn’t mean much over the internet, but you have my word.

Not trying to be offending, but the word of a total stranger in a video game where person to person trading is not supported by the Devs, it’s not worth the (digital) paper it’s printed on. I’m sure you are completely honest and trustworthy. The problem is that people who lie, cheat and steal use exactly the same words. Since trading between players is unsupported, I’m not sure that scammers using trade are even banned. And even if they are banned, the scammed are unlikely to get their items back.

Since people have no way to separate you from a dishonest person using exactly the same words, why should they trust you with minis worth hundreds of golds.

Make an arrangement with a guildie where you hand over collateral valued the same as the minis loaned. Then you trust the guildie to give you back the gold and not steal it from you.

Since minis are not account bound, you should be able to buy and then re-sell them, for “only” a 15-20% loss in funds.

That being said, if I had any of the exotic minis, I’d probably be willing to enter in such an arrangement with you… but sadly I don’t.

I’ve always found it weird that minis, as the exception to the rule, aren’t account bound. Given this special circumstance, pooling resources seems a valid strategy.
