I’m new to guild wars 2, heard a lot of good things and decided to give it a try, I’m currently downloading now, wondering which NA server has the largest population at the moment. (If a particular server has the largest PVP population, I’ll take that.)

GW2 has Mega-Servers which means PvE & PvP wise choosing a server doesnt matter.
Choosing a Server ONLY effects WvW.

You should join my server: Tarnish Coast.
It’s not bad here for WvW last I checked.

Also since you’re new I can teach you everything you need to know about combat and making builds personally in game.

Note that wanting to join a server and there being ROOM for you to join are totally different things. A server that is FULL will be very problematic to get onto (tho it may be easier in the WvW off-season).

Note that FULL means there are no account slots available currently (not that there are a lot of players logged in right now). For a server to become NOT FULL requires either Anet to expand the maximum number of accounts on a server (happens very rarely) or someone must transfer their account on that server to another server.

Nah don’t join TC. It’s always full. Come to Northern Shiverpeaks!

(Disclaimer – It’s been ages since I’ve looked at whether TC was full or not but it always used to be!)
