I can’t find patch notes from the latest build that was released just now. Where do I look for these?

The next patch day is August 12. The previous was July 29th. It’s every 2 weeks.

They dont post “builds” ?

• NEWS AND INFO > UPDATE NOTES threads on these forums.

Note that the info can not be up to date for a half a day or so.

I think Astral was implying no updates have been released recently (unless it was this morning some time…not a scheduled release).

EDIT: There was a patch today, but there appear to be no notes available.

Ah, I misunderstood the question then. And I had checked and didn’t see any update notes. It’s a little unusual to have a new build so late in the 2 week cycle.

Probably bug fixes I would think. No doubt they will post the information in a while.

Edit: the launcher does talk about double black lion claim ticket chances. It says thru August 14th on the launcher but the link says August 11. It also says, on youtube points of interest episode 4.

I bet it was the Black Lion Claim thing … grrrrrrr … I bought and used 25 keys a couple of hours before the patch. Though I did get a ticket, and a few scraps. Still, I made the assumption that if they hadn’t done anything special to discount keys by the middle of Wednesday, there was no reason to wait any longer for a shot at a permanent hair kit.

(Surprise, I did not get a permanent anything! The nearly 2-year record remains unbroken! )

I guess a weeks worth of key running is in my immediate future.

When I see the GW2 client patching, the first thing I do is go to the forums and read the patch note. Very weird when there aren’t any. ANet is usually quite thorough with them (some stealth nerfs aside).

I think it’s because they messed up on the dates that the double chance for the tickets ends. They have one date on the launcher and 2 other dates on the announcement. They must be editing, or something.

They always post builds(or any update for that matter—today they haven’t bothered to inform us. Just another example of the total disrespect that Anet has for customers.
